As I'm laying here trying to guess how much time I have until LO wakes up demanding food, it got me thinking about what is "normal" for you ladies. We all know babies can be unpredictable at times. I feel like by now we all have a "normal" and can somewhat tell what is going to happen. Someone please tell me my child is not the only one still waking every two hours. Also add your rough sleep schedule if you'd like.

S usually goes down around 8:30-9 and then we get a nice 3-4ish hour stretch of sleep but after that he is up every 2 hrs like clockwork. We haven't sleep trained because he's still in his PNP in our room. At this point I'm not really even phased by him waking so often anymore. He just eats and goes right back to sleep. He's up for the day around 7 when H gets ready for work.

Typically he's been sleeping from about 9ish to anywhere from 4 to 5. Sometimes he'll go to 6, but not often. I definitely consider 4 or 5 to be motn, so I chose the 1-2 option.

LO puts herself to sleep around 7:00-7:30pm (meaning she gets super fussy and I give her the boob and she passes out). We usually have a good stretch until 1 or 2 (but the past 2 nights it has been 11) and then she eats and then goes right back down until 5:30-6:00. I don't think it's that bad and I just keep telling myself she is little and soon I will miss our MOTN meet ups
Side note: we have great friends back home who we visited on our vacation. They have 4 children under 5!!!!! My friend is in phenomenal shape and exercises every morning and just loves life--- well, do you want to know her secret-- ALL FOUR of her kids (even the four month old) goes to bed at 7:30-8 and sleep through the night... I was a jealous bitch when I heard that.

DDs schedule has been all over the place and this past week definitely more wake ups than normal. It seems like she is getting in the habit of bed around 8, wake up at 11, then again around 4 and up for the day at 6 or 7. At this point I think we need to retry sleep training because it has all gone out the window since our vacation. I'm up for her 11pm wake up now and I feel like has just become a habit for her. Bad nights we've been up 4 or 5 times, I am blaming teething but no teeth have appeared yet.

He goes to sleep between 7 and 8 which means we start bedtime at 6 to 630, but he's basically attached from 5 or 530 until he's down. He needs dinner and a nightcap. I was hoping to be done with cluster feeding by now, but then I was hoping for a lot of things. Wakeup 45 to 90 minutes later is dealt with putting him on a shoulder and rocking and that one is going away since it's more reflux related. He just needs to be upright for a few minutes to feel better and he's out as soon as he's on your shoulder.
Another wakeup around 10 and then we start the every 2 or 3 hour business. Or he does like he did tonight, asleep by 8, up at 1030 to eat for 30 minutes, sleep until 330, eat for 45 minutes, sleep until 530. He is currently eating and may go back to sleep for 45 minutes, but probably not. I'm slowly moving bedtime to 530 to be asleep by 630 if he keeps up getting up at 530. MH hates not getting to spend time with him so he gets to do the changing and stories at night and play and solids in the morning.
We are somewhere between 2 and 3 on a normal night. Lately it has been 2. We put her down around 7 (earlier if she skips her 3rd nap). We usually have a wakeup between 10-11 and 3-4. Up around 6 for the day.
Isla wakes up at least 5 times a night More if I put her in her crib. She still isn't sleeping for longer than a two hour stretch and wakes up fully if I'm not turned towards her so she can access my breasts as soon as possible. And then if she does become fully awake of course it takes forever to get her back to sleep. FML both my older two slept for 4 hour stretches from birth and were sleeping 6-8 hours by now.

Hahaha I blame every bad mood/cry fit/bad night of sleep on teething now!

My LO slept through the night twice this week but because of that was up for the day earlier than usual by 60-90 minutes. I think he gets a better night sleep With one overnight feed. Plus i legitimately don't mind... It's our special time

wahey! I'm special After going to bed at 7ish, Jake sometimes randomly wakes up at 4-4.30ish for a snack and other times he wakes up at 7 ready for the day. We started a light-grain porridge before bed and that seems to be helping. For now
We have a pretty good thing going right now. She goes to be between 6 and 7 and will sleep until 5 or 6. Then sometimes after a bottle she will go back down until 7 or 7:30. Bow down to you mamas who are up all night.
Dd falls asleep after her last too off bottle of bm at 7:30-8 pm. She usually wakes at about 5:30-6 am which is when I need her up to start our day. Occasionally we get a wake up like around 11, but pacifier and a pat or two on the butt and we are back sleeping.
Randomly this morning she woke around 4:15 but for once she didn't have her pacifier in bed so I think she was looking for it.

DS is down more often at 6 but anytime between 6-7 and then on a typical night wakes up once or twice to eat. Once if he doesn't wake up until 1-2 to eat. Twice if he wakes up at 11; then he will wake up at 4ish. He is usually up for the day between 6-6:30 and on rough mornings at 5:30. All in all not so bad but could be better AKA sttn.

The boys get their last bottle right around 8. They wake to eat anywhere bt 4-6a, but usually it is bt 4-430. I consider that MOTN bc I for sure don't want to be up at that hour

I picked 1-2, but it's usually 1.
She goes down at 7:30ish. Occasionally she'll wake at about 9ish, but goes back to sleep with a back rub. She's up to nurse at some point between 3 & 5, up for the day by 7ish.

Has yet to stay down for an entire night. For a brief time it was only once and I was over the moon. Lately it has been three to four and I'm struggling.
I enjoy the extra calorie burn from the breastfeeding but I would enjoy the sleep even more.
Mia slept through the night from 2.5 months until two weeks ago and I am slowly dying inside. She is now sleeping on her tummy but if she flips over in her sleep she freaks out and needs to be consoled. This has been happening anywhere from 2-6 times at night. All the coffee in the world isn't helping. Woof. Praying it's over soon.
B goes to bed around 7-7:30 and for a brief, lovely 2 weeks after her first two teeth came in was sleeping through until 7am. Now she's waking up around 10-11pm screaming for a bottle and again around 4-5am. I am ashamed to admit I have no idea what time she wakes at since most mornings I wake up around 7:30-8am and she is talking to herself in the crib. I don't know how long that goes on before I wake in the morning.
I voted 1-2. We seem to be going through a stretch of 1 right now but it changes on a dime so I won't hold my breath. We are planning on night weaning soon.

You all are making me feel so mu ch better-for some reason I thought everyones LOs were sleeping. We seem to be on a bed around 7 up between 1-3 to eat and back asleep until 6/7 on good nights. Bad nights are up around 9 for soothing and 11 and 3 for food/comfort/mom. The few days he's actually cutting a tooth everything is a crapshoot

DS learned the art of STTN after sleep training. He gets his bottle at 6pm and puts himself to sleep when we place him in the crib 6.30-7pm. Wake up time is anywhere 6.30-8am. He still wakes MOTN to talk to himself, but doesn't usually need attention. We turn down the monitor volume so we don't get disturbed by his babbling. We find that he'd cry for a feed MOTN 2-ish if he's not meeting his milk quota of 25oz, we now write everything down so we'd always know when he'll next eat, nap/wake up. Naps are not great though, 30-45mins @3x or 4x a day, roughly every 2 hours except for morning, he sometimes needs a nap after only an hour of awake time.
