DS is finally napping. He feel asleep nursing but woke up when I snapped my fingers to get MH attention to take the play thing off the bouncy chair. Because MH doesn't pay attention to whispers.
45 minute intruder this morning was DS rolling over onto his stomach in his sleep. Not such a restful position. And he hasn't figured out yet how to roll back while he's in his sleep sack.

Im working. Booooooo! But today I'm on my own so it's nice and peaceful and I can blast spotify through the hallways That part is nice! How's everyone???
DH and I are having date night at home after DS goes to bed. Tapas, wine, and sexy time. Physiotherapy is finally progressing that sexy time is a viable option.
Only our second wake up tonight, but I realized while pumping at the 2 am wakeup that our wifi had gone off so baby monitor blew threw all our data and then some (it is connected to our phones). Issue fixed but that kept me up. So glad she woke up so I caught that at 2 am instead of after 8 hours of data.
Having to go to work on the weekend is no fun WittyLittle.
I have to check in at work and go down to the office with DH. He needs to do some work so DS and I will retrieve his milk I forgot to grab from the fridge and pick up groceries.

meh it's ok. It's worse having to pay for daycare Usually my coworker is here, but he's been avoiding me after hurting my feelings last week. This guy is a piece of work. 99% of his problems are caused by him running away from minor incidents rather than facing up to problems and dealing with them. So childish.

Too bad you couldn't take DS with you. I almost had a meeting this morning at work and my boss said that I could bring the baby with me. I joked that he might have good ideas on how to fix the issues. We decided that we didn't have any new data and to reconvene on Monday. I'm doing some work from home, mostly reviewing the literature to get more information on what we're doing. We've been pretty black box on it for a while in terms of team knowledge.
Morning. I am trying to convince DD she is still sleepy and wants to nurse back to sleep. Not that it really helps me as I am up for the day as it is. But I will take the quiet time.

You can still get ahead on the day with some alone time which is really nice.

Indeed she fell asleep on me and I just enjoyed the sunrise and my thoughts for a bit.
Morning! I stayed up late last night for no good reason, so now I'm exhausted. Totally my own fault, though. Maybe I can get a nap in before we head to the zoo. That, or a run. But nap seems more desirable at the moment.

Morning!
My neices birthday party is today. I'm about to get in the shower and get things ready. I need some heavy make up for these bags under my eyes. My child will sleep at night at some point, right?
I didn't know how to wrap all of her art supplies, so I did this:
Morning everyone. I'm currently in nap jail... Dd woke up at 6, dh fed her and brought her in, and we all fell back asleep around 7. But dd squirmed herself right up on my side so I'm squished haha. I can't sleep anymore but I'm afraid to move.
We have a family birthday party today, dh's cousin's daughter's 1st bday. Should be fun. Hoping for an at home date tonight after dd goes to bed. Mil offered to babysit today so we could do something, but we are lame. Just want to hang with the baby after missing her all week and don't want to go out.

seamonster sounds like a fun date night! Hope sexy time is enjoyable! WittyLittle sorry your coworker is being childish. At least he realized he hurt your feelings?
Only one wake up last night so I'm hoping DS feels better this morning, at least a little bit. DH is going to finish packing the car while I feed DS, then we're off to the beach.

Zoo equals walking Walking equals exercise You don't really want to overdo it, right?

Morning all! LO didn't wake me till almost 4 am last night! I love those nights. of course this morning he had a major blow out and I'm debating throwing out the PJs he was wearing. i had to wake up DH to help.
No major plans for the day. We are headed to a baby wearing meetup in an hour or so...I've been starting to wear DS on my back in the ergo, but I'm not 10% sure I have it adjusted well/am putting him on the best way, so this will be great for my piece of mind. I still like keeping him on my front for thinks like grocery shopping so I can smell his head and talk to him, but for doing chores around the house/hiking on the back is the way to go!
Almost missed the spam thread... I (not the baby) had a rough night of sleep. That is so not fair! So it's a slow start this morning. I might be fighting a battle with a cold.
It's my DH's golden birthday today. He chose to go to the Shedd Aquarium so that's where we'll be all day with the girls. If we ever get there lol. We all still need baths, I'm doing a load of laundry, breakfast needs to be eaten and it's almost 8. They open at 9. Oops, guess we won't be beating any crowds if there is any.
Everyone have a great day! And GO BEARS - preseason game (away, thankfully) tonight.
Son of a bitch!! I just realized I left my cooler bag in my pump bag overnight. Dammit, between that and leaving my flanges at home one day earlier this week you'd think I haven't been doing this for 3 effing months.
DH was all, "well you'll make more. Think of it like you were drunk and had to dump it." I said I wish I was drunk at work. Or now. I also threatened to hook him up to a pump.
Good morning! DD normally sleeps through the night but decided it was play time at 3am and wouldn't go back to sleep on her own so I brought her into bed with us. She slept well after that but I didn't! She's napping on me now so I may try to get a few minutes of sleep too. Later we're headed to see my parents and younger brothers and sister then a $3 bag sale after that. Hope everyone has a fun Saturday!
mrsclark731 that is awesome. I would have been in heaven as a kid with that gift. Heck who am I kidding I would still love it.
dreemkin. It is almost worse to have a rough night sleep and it not be the baby's fault. Have fun at Shedd! I have heard it's awesome, hopefully we can make it there when we visit. (I have dreams of a week long vacation to Chicago but that would ideally include 3 baseball games LOL)
Dd did her normal wake up at 6. She ate and snuggled with daddy to go back to bed. Now she and I are hanging in bed watching brave while daddy cuts the grass. Later on we are headed to the zoo with my parents, sil and her boyfriend and the cousins. (7 yr old and twin 5 yr olds girl and boy)

We're sorta driving past a beach today, which suddenly made me sad we haven't made it this year. DH and I are both fair-skinned which limits our time in the sun and with DD we didn't think we'd be able to enjoy it much anyway, but I've always enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the shore. Perhaps next year we'll figure something out.
In the meantime...today we're going to a baptism 2.5 hours away. One of DH's good college friends asked him to be her daughter's godfather, so we're making the trek. It's only fair, since last weekend's trip was to visit one of my college friends...I'm just not a fan of how much more difficult travelling these long distances is now with DD in tow.

Only 1 wakeup last night! And I went to bed at 8:30 since I was so exhausted from the week so I got 6.5 straight hours of sleep and then another 2! Whooo hooo
