I have a few random questions that I need a little mom help on.
1. What do you give your kid to keep him from getting constipated when potty training? 2. How do you send their milk for daycare of there is no fridge? 3. Do you still cut up your kids food? 4. Where can I find non-character backpacks?

1. We use Miralax when A has a tough time going.
2. You could get an insulated cup. I think ours is Foogo brand. Or there are the Horizon milk boxes that don't need refrigeration.
3. Not everything, but still cut most things into bite-size pieces because my kid doesn't know how to chew.
4. Land's End, Pottery Barn kids, LLBean. I think Old Navy has some too.

1) Dagny is rarely constipated but if she hasn't gone in a couple days I use Miralax 2) we do preschool but she takes her lunch - I just send water. Would he be able to access it at all times or just have his milk with lunch? It should be fine in his lunch box with ice packs I would think. 3) We have a skip hop one - Barnes & Noble. You should be able to find a non character one at Target
2. If you got a lunchbox with an ice pack, it should be able to keep it cool all day.
3. Very rarely these days. Depend on the food. I can either feed him a hot dog the regular way, or if he doesn't want a bun, I cut it up. Or I make sure to cut of large pieces of fruit, but he is pretty good about just taking bites of things vs shoving the whole thing in his mouth.
4. Anywhere they sell backpacks. Target also has Jansport and I'm sure other brands, I would think Walmart would as well.

1. We don't have that problem, but we do give him a fiber gummy after his pedi recommended it to us.
2. His school provides all food and drinks but I would think an insulated lunchbag and ice packs would work.
3. Not all of it, but a good amount. He still puts a lot in his mouth at once so it makes me nervous.
4. I bought a cute Olive Kids backpack on amazon. It does have a design (construction trucks), but it's not a character.

1. What do you give your kid to keep him from getting constipated when potty training? A small amount of Miralax into her water. Its the only thing that keeps her flowing and is pedi-approved.
2. How do you send their milk for daycare of there is no fridge? Hmm we don't have this issue, but can you put a big ice pack into an insulated lunch bag with the milk in it? 3. Do you still cut up your kids food? Yes 4. Where can I find non-character backpacks? I wish I knew--following this post!
Wait wait--try sporting goods stores! I know I've seen backpacks that are just 1 color or a color pattern and not with characters!

1. What do you give your kid to keep him from getting constipated when potty training? We've never had an issue but both my girls eat lots of fruit. 2. How do you send their milk for daycare of there is no fridge? I use a thermos fountainer for preschool. The milk is only out for an hour and a half before snack time. I out the thermos in the freezer at night so it's also cold. 3. Do you still cut up your kids food? Yes - even my almost 5 year old. My friends 4 year old son choked to death (on a prescription medication) so I am overly paranoid. 4. Where can I find non-character backpacks? Pottery barn, JC Penney (think jansport or north face).
1. We've never had this issue so no help here. 2. We only send water with her to daycare. She gets her milk before and after daycare. 3. I only cut up her meat and if her veggies (like broccoli) are really big. 4. I got Kayleigh a non character backpack at Target.
Thanks everyone. I've looked at target and kohls but they didn't have any mini backpacks without characters. What size backpacks are you using? 10"? 14"? Normal size?

1. Lots of fruit at snack time - strawberries, watermelon. Lots of water throughout the day. 2. Get a lunch box and icepack 3. Sometimes, it depends on what it is. 4. Try a sports/outdoors store. I'm sure you could find something on Amazon too.
