I asked on the site that shall not be named...but could use some more recommendations. My wife and I have a little book club going and could use some new titles to facilitate some discussion.
Our recent reads have been: Big Little Lies Gone Girl The Husband's Secret
Next up is...What Alice Forgot
I read The Passage but my wife is definitely not into the Passage kinda book. Other than sci-fi she'll read just about anything. My only requirement is that it is available on audiobook format. I spend a decent amount of time in my car. But since you all turned me on to overdrive I'm all set. Most titles I can get through our county library or my work library.

Thanks!
I must admit, I'm not a big reader! In addition to working and being a new dad, I'm also a college student so when I read its usually text books! I must say though, I have become more interested in history and some historic type of stories and books now that I have been studying it.
I wouldn't say I "read" but more listen during my commute. Not sure what history you are enjoying but I've read most of David McCullough's stuff. It's pretty great. Non-fiction but reads like fiction. 1776, Flags of our fathers, John Adams, brave companions, and the Johnstown flood were all pretty good reads. If you do want any suggestions for non-fiction (you know years from now when have time to read for pleasure)...a buddy of mine reads all sorts of biographies. I'm a fan of historical fiction...The Devil in the White City was great. I had just been in Chicago and toured all the worlds fair stuff before reading it so it was cool to read about something familiar.

Audio Books is not a bad idea! I have a 40 minute commute in the morning, all Freeway so I could definitely put a dent in some books. History wise, I guess really anything. I know there have been a lot of books and movies about ancient empires but really learning the history behind it I guess I feel more connected to the content, if that makes sense?

I just started reading Born to Run probably seems I should have read this a long time ago being a runner and all... Anyway, I'm just now getting around to it. I noticed they're going to make a movie so I want to hurry up and read it before all of the movie hype.
Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. This amazing stranger from the planet Krypton. The Man of Steel, Superman!
