My first time starting the random posts! Yay! Anyway, Allison didn't go to sleep till 11 even though we started the bedtime routine at 630 like we always do. I thought maybe she had a stomach ache on top of the 2 teeth she's getting. To those moms of babies who got multiple teeth at once, did this ever happen to your LO?
We also didn't go to sleep until 11:00ish instead of the normal 7:30 lots of crying and thrashing. He has had 4 teeth Pop through in the last 2 weeks so I think that was part of it also that he didn't get much mommy time yesterday and that tends to make him clingy at night. I had a hard deadline for a work project so I ended up working until 1:00AM and back up at 6:00 this morning...send caffeine please!
Jax- we have a definite bedtime routine, and occasionally he has had a rough time going down. I think it's a mix of a couple things- teeth, learning something new, wanting to play a bit longer, especially when he learned something. Like walking. He wouldn't go to sleep till close to 11 when he first started standing on his own and stepping.
Spikesmom- whoa- more coffee to you!
Zengal- how many teeth does she have? Has it been a while or is she just used to them now?
We have a THIRD tooth popping through, all at once lol. He looks so darn cute!
LO has 4 teeth - 2 upper and lower. She definitely has a gap between her upper two. Never diagnosed with a lip tie, but given her BF latch history? Not surprised. Of course, she won't let me fuss with her mouth long enough to get a good look.

My little thinks thinks I'm annoying when I took in her mouth too. She either sticks her tongue out or slaps my hand away lol.. But teeth she has are so far out they are hard to miss. She's working on her 6th and maybe her 7th. I'm pretty shocked that my little 6 lb 8 oz'er is now 17 lbs, standing, taking steps, and with a bunch of teeth
jax1182014, DD got her bottom 2 front teeth at the same time. It seemed to make her fussier, but didn't change her night sleep so much. Her naps on the other hand aren't so great, but I'm not sure that is her teeth. No other teeth yet though, so we'll see what happens when more start popping through.
I'm procrastinating on all of the stuff that I need to get done today. I shouldn't since I have to be up at 1 am for work which means I need to go to bed early, but I'm lacking motivation at the moment.
Waving! We've got two bottom teeth, but I honestly don't remember how it did or didn't affect sleep. She's drooling like crazy so maybe there will be more one day soon?
Re: overnights (from yesterdays topic) - we're doing our first this weekend and I'm worried our now good sleep will go to shit while we're gone. In some ways it seems silly to go on a long weekend trip when we're sleeping well, but my husband and I need some time together and I think I need the distance to really disconnect from "home". I will say, prepping for three nights away is a lot of fucking work. (Laundry, groceries for sitters, clean house etc)
I've got a question for you all. Hitting - LO mostly does it out of excitement, but sometimes she just slaps. Is she too little to correct and talk about being kind?
zengal yes yes, i survived. all in all, minus some when's a second baby coming talk when we've clearly stated there is no second baby coming ever, it wasn't the total worst.
Pixie/ I correct if he slaps the cat, or my face or doing anything that hurts. I just hold his hand and say no that's too hard/ be gentle and then demonstrate gentle. Or when he sticks his hand in my mouth the tries to rip off my bottom jaw. Yeah, we don't do that lol. I would rather start now then when he is a toddler and the sass really kicks in
I don't think it's too early for him to start learning the difference in touch. I'm not expecting him to remember. Just rather correct so eventually it will stick
YOU.GUISE. The most perfect house I've ever seen just came on the market yesterday in THE town we want to live in. In THE pricepoint we are looking for.
I just contacted our realtors and told H that we are looking at it STAT STAT.
fingers crossed that no one is also ready to pee their pants in excitement over this house.

jjh1119- yay! FX that this is your house! Also, can't wait to see Liam with teeth :-) jax1182014- Isaac had 4 at one time and he was very fussy at bedtime. He couldn't sleep and we had to give him some infant tylenol. It helped him sleep.
Isaac has 10 teeth. Which is crazy! He does have a tiny gap between his top 2. It is so cute, when he smiles.
I am exhausted today, may post later. I am going to attempt to nap since DH offered
