Anyone have anything to share this week?

1. Our house is officially on the market. It was stressful trying to finish up last minute projects and getting organized but the house has never looked better!

2. My parents have been great offering to babysit whenever we need lately while working on the house and while looking at new houses. For some reason they started looking at camps with a realtor over the weekend when they knew we wanted them to watch DD while we looked at 7 houses. I don't get their timing with this all of a sudden and they did the same thing in February when I was looking at new cars and actually bought one too (they didn't need a new one, whereas I needed a new car). Its like they keep catching the fever or it seems like they just keep trying to one up us on everything we are doing, I know its not intentional and they love us but come on!

3. I'm 18w2d pregnant, how on earth am I almost halfway?! I don't remember it going this fast the first time around.

4. We find out the sex of the baby next friday and then can finally start planning some things like clothes (go thru DDs and wash or buy boy stuff).

5. DH has to have surgery the week of DD's birthday and party, luckily it's outpatient but recovery is about 3 days and he'll be pretty much laid up most of the time.

6. It's nerve wrecking waiting for people to want to look at our house and also a pain to try to keep it pretty clean everyday!

7. I can't believe it's September already, I'm looking forward to a bit cooler weather but not the dreaded cold and snowy winter.

8. We are doing a 101 dalmations party for DD (I think) and they do not sell that stuff anywhere, just amazon. I guess it makes it easy to order but there's not much for pickings.

9. I need to figure out what to do with DD today, it's supposed to be very hot and humid and I don't want to go outside.

10. I need to get in the shower and get going this morning!

lilqt3929, you scared me and made me think that it was still Tuesday... it's been a long enough week already! Lol.

1. DD1 has been a lot of work lately! She's very particular and has a meltdown whenever things don't go her way. I try to help her avoid getting into these situations, but when she's crying because her ball won't balance on top of her toy car while she pushes it, there isn't much that I can do! Haha.

2. DD2 is such a content, happy baby. If only she slept better at night!

3. This is the last week of my baby being a one year old!!

4. We went to a wedding 4 hours away on the weekend with only DD2. It was kind of relaxing to have dinner/dance with only one kid to worry about.

5. It was the first wedding I'd been to with 2 grooms! It was beautiful. They have such good taste and it was seriously like a magazine wedding. Best of all, the cake had rainbow layers hidden on the inside.

6. DH is working in Houston next week. Normally I'd be excited to write him a huge shopping list since there are a lot of things that are cheaper in the US or not available here, but the Canadian dollar is terrible right now. I do plan to have him find me some of those pecan pie M&M's though...

7. We'd probably go with him but DD2's passport hasn't arrived yet.

8. I've joined a couple of fitness challenges in hopes of getting rid of some of this baby weight. I'm really competitive so I think it will help.

9. But pumpkin spiced lattes come out next week sooooo maybe I'll just keep the weight. Worth it.

10. I don't really plan to get DD a birthday gift... is that wrong of me?

1. This is my babies last week as a one year old! Where has the time gone?!?!

2. In just three weeks (or less) he is going to be a "big" brother

3. DH still isn't home (he may never be) I wish he was and he says he's "trying" who knows about him

4. We are getting little man's birthday present this weekend

5. This pregnancy has gone by so fast 36 weeks already

6. The Dr won't let me go over 39 weeks

7. We aren't really having a themed party for DS just something small with just my sister/BIL, nephew, and DH.

8. I need to order his cake soon though

9. My cousin and his family decided not to move to Tennessee

10. My best friend is waiting to hear back from hear boyfriend's paternity test. He says he doesn't have another kid but she is expecting him to be the father of the baby in question

sugarkissed is it bad that I had to do a double take when you mentioned it isn't even Tuesday. Ugh, wow where the heck is my head?! I guess it's better to be a day ahead then behind though! Sorry about that.

1. DS finally hit birth weight at 33 days old. I want to be happy but his doctor is still concerned.

2. The 2 LCs I've seen and my PA SIL all say it's not a huge concern but I can just disregard his pedi.

3. DD is staying home again today for another family fun day. It's so nice having time in the weekdays when things aren't so busy.

4. Next week is my last week of maternity leave. I'm mostly ready to go back to work. There's no structure to my days without work.

5. I'm going to have to start reprogramming my system and schedule next week so I can make it through a day of work. No more naps

6. DD is practically potty trained! Daycare started putting her in panties last week and she has had zero accidents since day one.

7. Of course she's still in diapers for sleeping and long outings but she's doing so good!

8. We didn't get her any bday gifts either. Although I think we'll probably buy her something today while we're out. Her bday was Sunday

9. I really need to eat better and exercise. I struggle so much with eating right when I'm home all day

10. Darn, I hear the garbage truck and we did not get our trash out.

carli so glad to hear baby boy is back at birth weight! I think it's in a mother's nature to always worry. I can't believe your DD is potty trained, good for you!

Thanks...honestly she basically did it herself. We just put her in panties and take her often. Although, of course after I posted this morning she had an accident lol. So, obviously not completely trained, but doing really well!

Thanks...honestly she basically did it herself. We just put her in panties and take her often. Although, of course after I posted this morning she had an accident lol. So, obviously not completely trained, but doing really well!

I really want to try putting DD in panties but I am so scared lol. She doesn't really like the normal toilet just her potty chair and a potty ring so I don't know how well she will do when out and about or at other people's houses. Plus, she's never pooped on the potty yet but will always tell us "poo poo potty" after she goes, stinker!
