DS has been awake for about two hours now. What started as a bad dream escalated quickly to wanting milk and to sleep at the foot of our bed... I just want to go to sleeeeep! That's what people do at 1:24am or so I'm told!

andindria -Poor little guy, hope he gets through the rest of the night without anymore bad dreams. And I hope you get to go to sleep soon!
Well, since i'm just a night owl and am up anyway I may as well join in. I've been feeling little baby kicks! They are very subtle, but definitely baby kicks. It's so exciting! Okay time to go to bed now, have to be up for work in 6 hours. Have a great Tuesday everyone!

DD doesn't get the concept of a show day. She woke me up half an hour before my usual alarm clock. Ugh. The snow is beautiful... and there is a lot of it... hard to believe the height of the storm is just approaching now, with all this already on the ground!

Whenever I see DS or DH (the acronym), I always read it as da son or da husband. I know it's darling, but my brain does not seem to care.
Also, the baby has taken up residence on my left side this morning. No matter what I do, baby does not want to move from that corner. My bump is even skewed in that direction.

As much as I don't want to teach until the end of June at almost 9 months in an 80 degree school I am excited to have today and tomorrow off. Last day of school won't be until June 23rd I think. Maybe this baby will come a week early.
I hope everyone impacted by the blizzard has a safe day.
I live in what is usually winterland, but almost all the snow has melted in the last week and it's been +10 C and sunny most days. It probably means that once the snow comes back it will stay on the ground until May.
Looks like we got about a foot, with 1-3 inches per hour expected throughout the day. We'll see what actually accumulates. I'm glad have the day off, but I have to go in on Saturday for a half a day to try to absorb some of the patients cancelled today.

DH needs to take my car to work again. His doesn't have awd and the heater broke so I can't say no. It's frustrating because then I'm stuck home all day till he gets back at 8 I reallllllly wish he'd break down and buy a new car or fix the heater! We live in PA, it's winter, and his daily commute is 1 hr - I feel like a heated car is a must!
However, we didn't really get hit with the storm. This always happens, I live in this weird "bubble" everything misses us, but by like half a mile. It's crazy weird.
Eric Church concert tonight...I am so so thrilled And wild to think about this blizzard going on since it is in the 70s in crazy Denver! Stay warm ladies!
DH has another interview today so I'm snuggled down with the dog and a yummy cup of coffee.
I should probably get some work done, I got a weird bill from my insurance (that also lists some kind of state Medicaid which I definitely DON'T have) so I need to sort that out today. Ugh.

I feel like I'm becoming a total photo w-word this pregnancy. But, since we're like 99.9% sure we're done after this, I don't want to miss capturing anything. So, I've spent the morning seeking out recos for local photographers who do inexpensive family shoots -- so I can get some maternity photos of some sort (no half-naked craziness -- not my thing -- just a regular outdoor shoot with DH and the kiddos).
We have our delivery day photographer booked, as well as our family photographer (she shot our wedding -- she doesn't live in Cincy anymore, but regularly travels to the area to shoot weddings and family sessions), coming up in early August to do some more 'newborn' shots. DH is anti the posed studio newborn photo sessions (for whatever reason that even he can't articulate), so she'll be a perfect, happy medium.
But, I still feel like that's a lot of photo sessions over the course of like 6 weeks. I know I won't regret it ONE bit, but, it's still a lot.
Soo thankful for some sleep. Both kiddos got a solid 8 hours last night! Of course I had to go check on them a couple of times because it freaked me out!
