I got less than three hours of sleep last night. Massive toothache. Hoping I can find a dentist that can see me before we leave at noon today...hopes are not high.
The blizzard seems to have missed us; we only got a few inches! I will take the snow day anyway. I hate that DH is headed out on unplowed roads when there is a travel ban.... Blah.
amelandre I hope you get to the dentist. That stinks!
kroads your son is so adorable. Happy birthday to him!
bwisco123 very sweet! My anterior placenta and extra padding make it harder for DH to feel LO often.

Snow day today! We're not expecting as much snow as some of our southern neighbours but it's still pretty nasty out right now. Cuddling up for a day of baby cuddles and hot chocolate. I just hope we don't lose power!
Rough night last night here too. My husband's work team switched over to nights last night, they rotate every 2 months, so it was Ethan's first night not having his dad for bed time in a while and that really sucked. Not looking forward to getting 2 down for bed at night.
I know this isn't the bitching thread but related to my random. I think it's stupid that they switched my husband to nights less than 2 weeks before they send him to training. If they had kept to their normal schedule of switching I wouldn't complain, but for whatever reason they switched earlier this round. They shouldn't have switched until the second week in February.

Very nervous, we had a new position open up at work and I have expressed interest in the position. It would mean working during the day and I have not done that in 8 years! I know in the long run it would be better for the family cause I would be home in the morning. But it just makes me nervous since it will be a lot if change and twice the pace I have gotten used to working at.

Do you work evenings now? I made the switch from evenings to days a year ago and it was the best decision I made. I finally feel normal!

Our townhouse feels like a home so much more than the old apartment ever could, DH and I are genuinely happier here. Last night he kissed my belly while we were doing little projects around the house, I feel so lucky to have a wonderful little family.
I'm hoping for some good luck and well wishes for DH today, he takes his test today to get hired into consumers energy! If he passes, he gets the job on the spot. This job is exactly what we need to move forward. His current job holds us back because we are constantly paying for tools he needs to do the jobs. *fingers crossed*

amelandre sorry about the toothache. I hope someone is able to see you in a timely manner! Well looks like we have quite a bit of snow and it's still coming down hard. I'm just dreading shoveling us out. Poor dog went out to pee and lasted about 2 minutes! But we still have power. Hope my other east coasters are faring as well.
I'm enjoying the relatively warm weather here in Missouri, but I totally wish I could cuddle with DH and the kids under a blanket watching the snow today instead of business as usual in cold rain.
I guess I was tossing and turning a lot last night because H woke me up to ask if I was okay. Um I was but I sure as hell am not now that I'm awake, thanks!
Ditto this. I've been so sick the past few days and I need to take out the dog so I can get back to sleep. The longer I wait to take her out the longer I wait to get back to bed.
My coworker sent an email saying she brought in bagels for everyone today. I was like awesome, snow day treat! They are weight watchers bagel thins and there is no butter or cream cheese to put on them. I was expecting Panera. #ungrateful
