E is missing his daddy, who normally does bedtime. He wouldn't let me put him down last night, so grandma had to come to the rescue. Stinker.
We have tons of snow. I'll try to grab a picture later. Thankfully the power is still on. This means, heat! But it also means I have to work, which will be interesting with E running around.
Hugs tjhine. And you too wedding. Based on your other thread, I'm guessing you had a long night, too.
So snowmaggedon was a bit of a bust. We've got about 3 or 4 inches, I'd guess? They're saying we still have another 1-3 to go, but this is nothing compared to what they were forecasting. Of course C's daycare and schools are closed, so everyone's working from home today. I'm planning on taking a long lunch break to take him sledding in the backyard.
I hope all of the NE moms and babies made it through Snowpocalypse 2015. tjhine I'm sorry.
I hired a cleaning lady and she's coming today. I also have a function at the philharmonic tonight. It's a reception to go over plans for new construction. Don't care. It's a baby-free evening.
In the time it took me to type that out, DH bailed on me. I'm going to make a separate post about it but he dropped some troublesome truthbombs on me yesterday and now he's acting like he didn't say them.
We are having some sleep regression. V was up four times last night. Not really fussing, just awake and wanting to play. My in laws are visiting for a few days and I got a long lecture this morning about how we need to stop bringing her into our bed after the first few wake ups. Get over it - we all need to get our sleep.

tjhine - any chance of an early escape due to lower than expected snow totals?
Add me to the disappointed with their snow club. I'm hiding in bed pretending to sleep because I was up hourly last night with H, so DH grabbed her this morning.
I've been MIA, we have teeth coming in and a wicked ear infection so I've just been trying to keep my head above water. Missed you all! I'm going to go catch up on the rest of the threads.

Watching the snow coverage. Getting ready to log into work (ugh). I have some big things due by the end of the week, but working from home can be very distracting. I have a very cute baby who often takes my attention away from less exciting things!
Here's the snow from my world (prob not more than a few miles from wedding).

My kid is still asleep. He went to bed at 7ish last night. I'm not complaining. Ok, I'm kind of complaining. I'm hungover and can't deal with another no nap day, if this is what he's gearing up for.

wedding you were right about the vet jacking up the prices on lab fees. I just paid $200 for a blood plannel. $300 hair ball diagnosis, better safe than sorry though.

Also, a TP Tuesday... TP to all the people who decide to microwave their eggs in the tiny break room then sprinkle crappy cheese... it smells like CRAP!@!!!!
To all our NE moms be safe, hopefully none of you need to travel tjhine hope you get a nap in today snoopmommymom I'm happy that you get to keep your job. That has to be a ton of stress off of you. estrellas congrats!!!
It's off and on sprinkling here, so I better get going to go to work. Our traffic will be worse then normal. Everyone out here freaks out when there is a little bit of non sunny weather.
chrisy01 & Sunny41 - mercy buckets. We'll see how this goes, since no u/s til India, which won't happen til at least 2 weeks after we get the NOC. So I'm in the "testing with +s and having symptoms, but fuck-all if we know if it's going well". No insurance sucks.
Good morning! I'm ready to get creamed at work again. Oh joy. This has been the work month from hell.
QUESTION-- Crayons, Markers, OR Colored Pencils? LO was really interested in drawing/writing with my ink pen the other day. I'd like to let him start scribbling, but not sure what would be best for that? I feel like he will eat/choke on the crayons, mark on himself and everything else with markers, and impale himself with colored pencils. Anyone have recommendations?

We have crayons. The Melissa and Doug ones are cool. They are triangular shaped and made of plastic (don't want them eating wax...right?) But we have regular crayons too.
DC sent home puff paint... he is obsessed with it... we try not to get that out unless we have to
