Good morning! I'm ready to get creamed at work again. Oh joy. This has been the work month from hell.
QUESTION-- Crayons, Markers, OR Colored Pencils? LO was really interested in drawing/writing with my ink pen the other day. I'd like to let him start scribbling, but not sure what would be best for that? I feel like he will eat/choke on the crayons, mark on himself and everything else with markers, and impale himself with colored pencils. Anyone have recommendations?
We have the crayola first crayons. The are big and oddly shaped to help LOs grasp them. B definitely tries to eat them, so supervision required.

Yes. Crayola color wonder markers and paper.
Trust me.
Done and done! Thanks everyone! I want LO to have some fun things to do with his dad and grandma while I play at HP World this weekend. Woooo!

For Christmas, I bought her crayons for the tub and for paper. I tape a big piece of paper to the floor and let her at it.
I have a thousand pictures, but I can't post them because I always grab a crayon myself and write all of our full names in bubbles letters ... Like I'm 8.

As I was going to bed last night I found that one of hte cats had vomited in my bed. Awesome! Thanks for that. So I strip the bed. The baby woke up a few minutes after I laid down, so I just said F it and let her sleep with me all night. She slept really well! She did wake up, probably around 4:30 or 5 to smack me in the face a couple of times, but then fell back to sleep. MH came to get her at 6:20, but since she was still sleeping he just laid down with her while I took a shower. She seems completely fine after her fall other than her eye is still a little swollen. MH just kept pointing out that her eyes aren't symmetrical and is that permanent. This caused me to freak out and I've been consulting Dr. Google all morning. I'll put a cold cloth on it tonight to see if it helps the swelling go down. It is very minimal, but now I'm an anxious wreck.
When LO comes in our bed and DH gets up to shower... he always gets on his pillow... do we have pillows in cribs yet? If so, what kind?
I wasn't thinking about a pillow until it was time for a toddler bed. V loves her Pillow Pet though, it's a puppy and she drags it everywhere and has fallen asleep with her head on it, on the floor.
I'm interested in when we can let them have them in the cribs, I think V would like it.
Also, a TP Tuesday... TP to all the people who decide to microwave their eggs in the tiny break room then sprinkle crappy cheese... it smells like CRAP!@!!!!

Make that shit at home!
Things that should never be microwaved at the office: eggs fish popcorn (this isn't an offensive smell, but it is overpowering and makes everyone then want popcorn)

I'm peanut butter and jealous of all the snow. I've always loved the snow and miss it like crazy.
Autumn and I have nothing to do again today. Maybe we will go to the mall to look at dresses. I feel like I can do better then a black Express dress for my brothers wedding.
Also, I need to buy Autumn a jacket for jersey in a couple of weeks, problems is ,they don't sell jackets here... FWP? So what jacket brand/style do you guys recommend? I normally wouldn't waste your time with this but I'm going to have to blind order online for this one. Thank you in advance
klongoria11 I'm sorry you're still having a rough time. Have you called the pediatrician just to see what they say? They may be able to put you at ease some.
cagoldi how do you keep A from walking off the end of the couch?
Also guys, dh grandparents want to take one of our cats. It's the one that DD Is the most attached to but DH's grandpa really likes him too and he is confined to a hospital bed and wants the cat to come stay with him to keep him company. They live less than 5 minutes from us and we would take the cat back once his grandpa passes but I'm conflicted about it. WWN13Do?
I would talk to DD about how much it would mean to grandpa and see how she is with the idea. ETA- I'm mobile and just realized that you're not talking about an older sibling. Right?
I just finished at the gym. We have so many old people at our gym that I felt like I was in a 1943 calisthenics class. They were even playing Glen Miller on the sound system. It's actually kind of cute in a way.
Jeez, I can't keep up with you all! Congrats estrellas! MOAR babies! @mx2, I agree to talk with DD to gauge her reaction before agreeing to anything. tjhine, sorry you're still not sleeping. I don't know if it's in the budget for you, but have you considered a sleep specialist for T? You both need more sleep than what you're getting.
A busy/lazy day for me. I took an extra day of vacation to pack for Vegas! I have to take the dog to boarding, do laundry, pack, etc. And daycare lost one of C's shoes yesterday and have yet to find it today, so I have to go to the mall and buy him another pair of shoes. Is it bad we only had the one pair that fit?
Also, I start my new job Feb. 23! I'm excited, nervous, happy and scared.
Had a random dream last night that I don't remember now. Pretty sure the pope and DH's ex both made an appearance.

I hope all the tired momma's get some sleep! And those snowed in stay warm and safe!
Well we got no snow. We were only in the 5-8" range but we literally got NOTHING. This winter has been weird as we have not had any really measurable snow yet.
I am working on a meal plan for next week. I'm tired of just winging it every night. I'm including my work lunches in it so I can get in some healthy lunches next week too. Other than that not much going on. I have to travel to our NJ office tomorrow so juggling day care drop offs and pick ups will be a little harder.
omg. One of my coworkers just told a dirty joke. The punchline was "vagina!" Everyone is uncomfortable.
WTF... siiiiiigh
It's funny, there is no filter at my job. I swear it's the most inappropriate place on the planet. They don't often go straight to words like "vagina", but I'll tell you the innuendo flies around like mad.
Basically, a guy feels good, but his coworkers and boss all think he looks awful so he goes to see the nurse. The nurse says, "Okay, you look terrible, but feel good... Let's look up your symptoms and see... Okay... Looks terrible, but feels good... Here it is! You're a vagina!"
OMG. Eww... I feel dirty just for typing that out.

Aww that's cute! I'm excited for these markers. Yay amazon prime for bringing me all the things.
Actually, my PB's alerts tell me if someone quotes me. I really like that. I think this is a pointless tagging since you're going to see that I quoted you, but whatev
