What's going on for everyone this weekend? Today Isaac is 10 months. He had his 9 month check up yesterday. He blew the pediatrician away with his vocab. She basically squealed when he repeated most of what she said. When she first walked in, she asked how he was and he said good. Lol. Silly Bear. We are having a low key family weekend. Just the 3 of us. Last night we had movie night and tacos. Bananas, waffles and blueberries for breakfast. We will see about the rest of this weekend :-)
So, I apologize for not being around much. My three and almost five year old started school a little over a week ago and things have been crazy busy at work and at home.
I'm taking a break right now. Lo is napping and I am resting before my oldest's bday party starts in a couple of hours. I can't believe he will be five!
I'm thinking lo will start walking within a month or so. He's been pulling up on anything and everything and is starting to cruise a bit. He's 10 months today! Hard to believe I will be doing his 1 year party in a couple of months.
We have friends coming to visit at our campground tomorrow and then we will be hanging out with my brother and his family on Sunday at the water park. Busy, busy!
I hope everyone has a safe, fun, and relaxing weekend!

So I'm at work tonight 3-11 and I check in around 6 pm. My husband tells me Allison is screaming, and he has a fever of 101 and chills. I tried to leave but ended up calling my mom first and she went over to help. I sense a bad night in my future :/

We are removing a wall this weekend so my free fridge can fit in the kitchen we also have to run a water line so that ice maker and water filter will work. . dD walked half way cross the living room tonight. It's was 10 steps before she fell.
I'm nervous about the walking because this means she will be unstoppable. She was so proud of herself. clearly the walking wore her out.
Zengal thanks. I'm amazed at how much paint the previous owners used on things. Pulled the wall out and my dad goes there's 1/8 of an inch of paint on the wall. I swear we have things held together by paint. Today is muding drywall, patching the floor, running a water line, & placing cabinets back in place hopefully.
We had a fun night last night- our best friends are pregnant!! She is having some pretty terrible morning sickness and he looks like he saw a ghost...'constantly. He and liam just kept staring at each other and he was like I'm gonna have one of those!
I'm so excited! We just said if we can do it, you can do it lol
Not doing LA. Waiting to try flying with liam when we go to key west in two weeks. We can go to LA after that. Especially once the weather gets cooler here. And we have more time to wrap our heads around traveling
I need time to think things through and literally to go to LA from Tuesday to Friday, then New Hampshire sat-sun and then then FOLLOWING Sunday to Sunday going to Orlando and key west is just too much.

DD keeps climbing in the dogs crate and closing the door she then cries because she's in the crate. It was so much easier before she figured out how to unlock the crate.
zengal my lo has been biting bad this weekend too. I think she damaged my right nip, she definitely broke the skin and it hurts like a son of a bitch! I can barley stand to feed her on that side bc it hurts so bad. May need to have someone at the office check it out tom just to make sure it's ok...
We are supposed to be going to my mil's for a BBQ here like now and my H is stuck in traffic trying to get home from the mountains. ..can't say I'll be too sad if we don't make it , my MIL has been not so nice lately

Oh kfaye! Sorry you're LO bit you! I've been bitten too but not anything that needs an office visit! I would see if they can take you quickly tomorrow. So I have determined that Allison is scared of her crib cuz of all the crying it out we've been doing. It's never for long periods. 10-12 mins at the most but we have been doing multiple intervals. So now whenever she even sees the crib she starts crying :/ so I have decided to show her the crib is fun and relaxing by jumping in with her and laying her back down to sleep. I was able to walk away with her drowsy and she fell asleep. I started crying after because I let her get more and more traumatized instead of showing her she can just lay down and close her eyes. I'm sure it's going to still take time but nighttime routine was not bad tonight.
jax1182014, I'm sorry this crib thing has been so tough. I'm glad you were able to turn it around again, though. She couldn't have been too traumatized, she slept! Good luck. I hope she starts to love her crib again
@jax182014 how sad about your lo crying when she sees her crib! I've read it's good to let them spend some non sleeping time in there. It's awesome you can lay her down drowsy and she will fall asleep on her own! That seems to be the trick to getting them to sleep well. I can't get my lo to do it but my mom does when she babysits.
Just got done at my mil's. It was ok but at the end of it her and my fil said they want us to leave lo with them for an overnight soon. Not only am I nursing and that would be a huge pain in the ass but they have barely seen her and I'm not about to leave her with people she doesn't know...especially since now she cries when anyone but me, my H or my mom even holds her

Oh and kfaye I haven't been able to lay down Allison awake before. Maybe 1 time lol I think getting in the crib, as crazy as it must sound, showed her it was ok to sleep. I'm going to keep doing it a few more times and keep you guys updated! Fingers are crossed it helps her not be so angry when she goes in the crib.
Zengal she's just been dumb about lo. She never sees her and was really upset when lo cried when she held her at our house last weekend. Lo pretty much screamed whenever she would get near her...not sure what was up (she could probably feel the bad vibes!) but my MIL kept saying that lo hated her which is stupid. She just grabbed her from me too fast and that doesn't work anymore since lo has started the whole stranger aversion thing.
I told them I couldn't let lo stay the night bc I'm nursing and my H says " You could just send some milk and pump"...Ya no. He doesn't get it

kfaye- my good fr I end gave us an adorable baby pool that is,shaped like a mushroom and we bought the balls separately. He loves it so much and it's nice and shallow. MsNicole06 - we had planned to get it for his birthday but when we got the pool for free we thought we could get him something else. @jax- that's a great idea! Also, does LO have,a nightlight. We have a projector that plays music and has a nightlight. Best $20 we ever spent. It has always been our saving grace at bedtime.
