Also lildis I am SO jealous of your crock pot roast! We ate cereal, bananas, and chips all day waiting for the power to come back. DS was in heaven though because he'd eat snack for all damn day if we let him
@priss08 if you go to my FB you can see the pic! 4 cups of snow 1/2 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 c. sugar (though 1/8 would have been better, it was so sweet).
Mash and mix until "ice cream" consistency. If it's too liquidy, add more snow. It's REALLY yummy, amazing flavor.

I am totally making snow ice cream with DD sometime. That sounds fun! However, it will not be today or this week as if live in Colorado where it is 70 degrees right now.
Anti-vaxers piss me off to no end. I'm usually pretty live and let live but that is something I will butt heads with people about.
I have something kind of like rheumatoid arthritis and I have to go get another drug infusion tomorrow. Blah. While on one hand I'm very grateful that I have access to medications that make me functional, it still pisses me off that I have this. It really started up about four years ago. I used to run fucking marathons before the arthritis.
According to a FB friend since I vaccinate my kid I am just following the herd and all my research comes from Google. Who knew ::eye roll::
Aaaah!!! All of the good information can be found via Google! (in medicine, anyway) Yes, Googling will also get you a bunch of crap, but done correctly it will also get you reliable expert reviews of current knowledge and cutting edge research (which all clearly supports vaccination).
Sorry, I'm a librarian; even among all the other stupidity from this person that was too stupid for me to let pass. Good for you for unfriending that idiot.
Just curious, are you an academic or public librarian (or something special)? I've worked in academic libraries for over 13 years both in marketing and communications and, more recently in organizational development and strategic planning. I'm not technically a librarian but everyone assumes if you work in a library then you are!

stellabunny I am sorry to hear about your arthritis! It is great the infusions help but I can understand your frustration in not being able to do things you used to. Hugs!
chapter79 YUM. I told DH about the snow ice cream but I can't talk him into it! He thinks there is no way to get totally clean snow. Ha!

We took it riiiight after it fell, from the grass. It was over 6" high so easy to get clean snow. It's so yummy!

It's a great field to be a working mother in - one of the perks of working with mostly women.
