I tried to get into dr who and couldn't *ducks for cover*

DS1 is fed and playing. I am celebrating the first day of unofficial fall with lentil soup in the crockpot. Ethan will need to eat soon so downing my baked oatmeal. Plan for the day is to check out the local
Community center. I hear they have an awesome play place. Probably a park after naptime.

I've been pretty absent from here since DS was born, due to the crazyness of new baby + moving. Hoping to start posting again semi regularly.

Last night was super tough, Henry didn't want to sleep and DH is working 3rd shift, which meant no sleep for me. Hoping for the opposite tonight!

It's been miserable hot/humid here in Ohio the past two weeks. Hoping for fall weather soon!

I got dd#1 to school by 7:15, in time, and ready for picture day and her field trip and showered myself first. However that was only accomplished by not going back to bed after the 4:30 am feeding. I gave no idea how I am ever going to get to work on time. I'll call it a win for today.

My mom is coming over for an hour today so I can make a big pot of chilli! I'm so excited. I could probably pull it off when he naps or baby wear, but this will just be easier/faster. Plus then I can save nap time for pumping or I can sleep myself.

So excited for chilli... My neighbours just gave me a huge zucchini that I'm going to use in it. Hope the beans don't effect LO too much because I plan on eating this for a couple of days...

I made a HUGE pot of beans last week to use in various meals (and freeze). Didn't affect him. (Although admittedly, he's already a gassy baby). As long as you soak the beans or use canned beans, you should be OK.

It wasn't projectile like it was last night but we just had a really big spit up. Took his temp and was 99 underarm.
Called pediatrician and said to still go to the lactation apt and come to the regularly scheduled dr apt in the morning...the nurse told me to limit my dairy. I did have a glass of milk last night but that's it.

So naturally I'm a wreck. Thank goodness my mama is here. H is getting off of work early too.

HOLY SHIT DH GOT A JOB OFFER!

Backstory: we're in a high COL area, and have been looking to move out of the area, specifically to Michigan; it's where we met, where DS was born, etc. A few months ago DH tried to transfer within his firm & it was a nightmare. They tried to get him to switch groups and take a MASSIVELY pay cut. A few weeks ago, a colleague of his pointed him towards a position at another firm in Detroit and he interviewed last week for it. He got the offer today!!!! It's a little less than what he's making now but it should be enough to allow me to stay at home again! Omgomgomgomg.

This weekend I went to our state fair with LO. It was crowded so we were there longer than originally planned so I had to NIP. I went and found somewhere off the path and covered with a muslin swaddle. I had a woman come up to me and say "god bless you for doing that". It made me feel so good, especially after a few weeks of difficult bf and tongue/lip tie.

Haven't caught up yet but holy moly baby girl is having tons of blow outs. She didn't really poop for a day and then had 3 poops that went up past her belly button!! On a 5hr car ride...

Don't get me wrong, I love tenant. I had a hard time transitioning to smith but in the end he wins. I'm still not on board with capaldi.
