Sorry, got stuck in the Dr. Who discussion during the Parenting mass tag last night.

My job description today:
1. Personal chef. Gotta make breakfast and mix up fortified milk bottles
2. Housekeeper. My dad is coming this weekend so we're trying to space out the cleaning.
3. My actual job. Still working from home.
4. Mom. Somebody has to be.
5. Dog sitter. For a "special" dog. Our dog is afraid of everything so getting her to go to the bathroom outside has been a struggle and I don't have the time or proper cleaning supplies to deal with that.

My boobs are out of control today. Dh woke me up at 430 to tell me I was spraying him. Everything is soaked.

Husband is back to work today, so we are on our own today. Plans include going for a walk before it gets too hot, and unpacking at least one box.

Today is my last day to have my Mom here. It's been 6 weeks that she's been here helping! I'm to the point where of course she's driving me nuts BUT it's been so nice to have help! I'm pretty sad and scared to venture into having full days where I'm doing this alone. Eek.

DH had some kind of stomach bug for last two days. Today I woke up with a fever and horrible stomach pains. Of course he's back to work today so it's me vs the kids on my own. It's a disney junior kinda day for my DS! Praying my DD has mercy on me and naps a lot! Ugh.

Morning! Totally slept through my alarms to get DS ready for school. Woke up in a panic with 20 minutes until we have to leave, only to find that DH was on it - lunch was already packed, DS was dressed and eating breakfast. So glad he saved the morning but what the heck am I going to do when DH's paternity leave is over??? GAH. Get it together, TMC.

DH's best friend (and DS's godfather) is coming today to meet Nora! Very excited to see him; he's an officer in the NYPD and has been pulling overtime like crazy to help pay for his wedding this fall. We haven't seen him in months, and I know DH is excited to catch up. Should be a good day!

I'm suddenly allergic to the dog now too. I don't get allergies. I'm only allergic to feathers and mold. Hopefully some of my allergy antibodies will transfer to Amelia.

We have a statue in the bathroom. H likes to move it every now and then. That's grounds for divorce, right?

Aftet a pretty smooth postpartum week and half, DS Has now decided he needs mommy all the time, particularly at 2-4 am. He'd cry, id go in and before i could get settled he'd lay back down like "oh good, you're here. I can sleep now". After 2 hours of this game with him i ended up sleeping in the glider from 4:30-6:30. I was shockingly comfortable being back in the big comfy chair not pregnant!
I hope this phase passes soon.

Sitting here watching LO cry... So frustrating but I have to pump and empty these milk jugs before they explode (he was already held/fed/changed before I started).

My mom is coming today and we are going to get some photos of my kiddos! I wanted to do some outdoor ones, but it's looking stormy.

When we get a house (in a townhouse now) dh is going to build a Tardis shed. We also want to get some life size weeping angels and put them in the backyard and move them around at night. We planned this years ago in the hopes of scaring future offspring.

queenb that is the worst. I have started forcing myself awake 40 minutes prior to overnight feedings so I can pump before she wakes up.

I spend my holiday weekend away from the internet and miss out on some old fashioned flaming. That's royal. All I can say is, guess I can throw away that post-it now.

Today, DS1 is sick, so we're camped out in front of the TV eating chocolate chip pancakes.

Also, this is the second time I've noticed melted chocolate in DD's belly button this week. I'm beginning to think it's a storage space for rogue chocolate chips.
