My in laws have ruined the dog. She won't eat her food because she wants treats instead. So now, she's running around in a circle around where the treats are, barking her head off. She hasn't woken Amelia yet...yet.
....it burns... down there. Ughhhh not when I pee so I don't think it's a UTI. Maybe a yeast infection? I've never had either. I was on antibiotics for 25 hours in labor and a different antibiotic after my section bc of fever. It's probably a yeast infection huh? I don't want to deal with this. Must call doctor.

It might just be from the swelling and trauma. Does it itch? Yeast infections itch like the bloody devil. Hope you feel better!
TMI post - I don't know if AF is trying to rear her ugly ass head, but I have had some brownish discharge for a few days and just a few smears of blood. I swear if that bitch comes back this early (6 weeks pp) while breastfeeding I am going to be pissed!!

Mine came back THE DAY AFTER my six week postpartum check-up. We EBF and bed share. Rage.

Mine came back right around 8 weeks. It was awful.
I have TMI questions. What do y'all do with the baby when you have to go to the bathroom? Like peeling I'm fine setting him down and letting him cry but what about #2? Do you bring them in there with you? Idk.

I'm nominating my mom as a twatwaffle. For no other reason than she just generally annoys me. Like yesterday, her eyeing everybody drinking red velvet shakes (my sister, husband, me, my nephews and son) with judgement and distain; announcing loudly several times that she's drinking DIET Pepsi. She also dramatically shudders in disgust when anyone mentions good food. She also commented on my weight several times during my pregnancy. And, if one of her daughters (2 of us) have a problem or need to vent- her eyes will glaze over and she'll dismiss it as "drama." But she will bend over backwards for her 2 sons, who can do no wrong. Oh, and she has no identity and will take on the opinions/likes/dislikes as the man she's with. Eww. Sorry, I saw her yesterday. Venting.

Yup. Definitely itches/burns. I had my section 11 days ago and I was completely fine until Sunday night.

I have taken N with me while he was on the boob because I had to go so badly. Was weird but he didn't notice at all.

+1 to this, especially MOTN feeds. We do have a small bench that I will lay her on if needed.
Since I gave birth I can't seem to fart quietly. Between me and the baby it is musical toots over here.
Me too. Will this get better with time and as the muscles down there heal/get stronger? Also I can't control when it happens which will be awkward socially if it continues!

I've worn him into the bathroom before. Parenting is weird a lot of the time.

Put her down in the pack and play and take care of business. Crying for 5 minutes won't kill her, but me not pooping could kill me, so....

Haha. I just #2'd while wearing him in the wrap. It was the first time, but probably not the last... Generally I'll just put him down and let him cry for a few minutes.

I nominate my tailbone and my hemorrhoids for both TMI and TW today. I'm so uncomfortable that I'm staying in bed today so that I'm not sitting directly on either. Also, DH is taking DD to dance class today and picking me up some hemorrhoid cream on his way back. He's clearly husband of the year.
elizabethnevadap, your mom wins. Commenting on a pregnant (or post-partem) body is a really shitty thing to do. So is shaming other people with your own body issues. My mom and the other women in her generation are terrible for this and I eventually had to tell her that she's not allowed to talk about this stuff in front of DD because I want this crap to end with my generation because studies show that how a mother talks about her body is the biggest influence about how a girl will perceive her own body. I said it like "I need you help in not passing our insecurities on to DD." and she took it well. That said, if I say to her "I need your help with xyz," she'll pretty much jump on board.

If I have to poop. I poop. If that means Ethan is crying and isaac is playing then that's what it means. I try to wait until naptime I can't always do that

And on pooing or peeing in front of your kid - I have no shame. DD has sat on the potty in front of me sitting on the toilet. While it's gross and weird and I'll eventually have to teach her about privacy, but I think it actually helped her with potty training in the long run.
Maybe I'm a TW but I've become a little numb to my child crying, if she's crying I will obviously try to fix whatever is wrong when I can but when I first had her, if I was driving and she was crying I'd pull over to see if something was wrong. Now as long as I know she is safe I don't think her crying for 10-15 minutes once in a while will hurt her.

I prefer a little fussiness in the car because our stupid little mirror thing is tiny and is never pointed at her. So if she's fussy, I know she's still breathing.
