Do I not see one yet?! How is everyone doing? What is going on?
We got to spend the whole weekend with V - lots of cuddles! My friend's wedding was beautiful and v was perfectly behaved. I need to schedule her baptism.

I worked Saturday and Sunday, but had a fun relaxing day on Monday. Some friends of ours hosted a BBQ so we hung out there.
This week is busy with work stuff -- we go into tech rehearsals for my current play this weekend, so I'm scrambling to get everything done in time! I'm not worried at all, it's just that after months of slow work we're finally at crunch time. I'm excited for this one to open though, and my in-laws will be here during the run so they'll get to see it too which is nice.
missjenniebean, it's called Outside Mullingar. It's a newer play (won the To y for best new play in 2014 I believe). It's been a lot of fun to work on, and a good group!
I'm glad you had a good time at the wedding, even with a tiny baby!

Do we have gentlemen in this group?? How did I miss that?
I'm off work today for Rosh Hashana, but the rest of the work week will be busy! I have multiple events as we ramp up for the start of the new academic year.
We went to look at some houses this weekend (I don't know if I've mentioned this, but we're dipping our toes into the market for a move to North Seattle to help cut down on my commute, aka. the amount of time I have to spend listening to Raffi), but nothing quite fit our needs and budget. Luckily, our deadline to move is "before the next baby" - which is probably two years down the line. So we've got plenty of time to find the perfect place.
missjenniebean So glad V was well-behaved and you had fun at the wedding! Did you take any pictures of her in an adorably fancy outfit that you want to share with us?

I LOVE house hunting, missjenniebean! But my husband hates it. So I've been going to look at a ton of houses, and only taking him to see the ones I would actually consider. So far, he's seen one house - I've seen like ten I'm hopeful this will make the process less stressful for both of us this time around. He got burnt out really quickly last time and was a total buzzkill at showings.
toratoratori, when we were looking for our house I saw way more houses than my husband too. He didn't hate it exactly, but they started to all run together for him. Plus he had to be at work for the job that moved us here in the first place! So our realtor and I would see houses during the day, and then just take DH back to the ones that were my top picks. I'd say it worked out well, we both love the house we got, even after almost a year here!

Neither of us really wants to move. We LOVE out house now. But I spend 3 hours in the car every day between the commute and daycare drop-off / pick-up. It's not sustainable for me
I would not do that long of a commute either. Hope you find something you both love!
It wasn't so bad until C started protesting the audiobooks / podcasts I listen to Now, she screams if I put on anything but the Raffi Pandora station. On the plus side, I am now familiar with the Wiggles' entire discography.
3 hours of daily commute sounds awful, especially if you don't get to pick the music anymore! The shorter commute for DH is one of the big reasons we picked the area we did when we moved to CO -- it's so nice knowing he will be home for dinner instead of stuck in traffic!
