Ladies, I'm just curious. We are set for the Sunshine House on Mason - Montgomery Rd, but wondering what other options are out there. We are getting a steal because we signed up during a promotion $600/month (year #1) including diaper and wipes.

Girl! That price is AMAZING for an actual daycare center. I remembered getting pricing and info from them and considered taking DD there since DH works near there. But we went the in-home care route instead.
I like in-home because my DD still gets interaction with some other children but she gets a lot more one-on-one time with the sitter. She's also around less children in not as germy of a place so she has gotten sick much less often than other babies I know her age (knock on wood...I could also attribute this to breastfeeding as well, but ya know). If you go the in-home route, I'd just make sure that the caregiver has some sort of curriculum or is at least dedicated to helping your baby learn. Mine is and I know the in-home caregiver that narbuckle01 just found is the same way.
Either way, I think you've defs got a steal there with the Sunshine House. That is a great price and if I remember correctly, that place had some great reviews.
That's an amazing price. We looked at centers in the Fairfield area about a year ago and they were all around $900-1000 per month. I don't know anything about Sunshine House, but if you like them, take advantage of that deal!

Just wanted to chime in and say that I worked there, about 7 years ago (wow, i didn't realize it had been that long!) when it was Creative Children's World. I left shortly after it was bought over by the sunshine house, but I only left because I moved to Michigan. I've worked in 4 different day care centers (youthland, La petite academy, and the little red schoolhouse were the others) and that was by far my favorite. It was always kept really clean, which I feel is super important for a day care center. I'm gonna echo that the price you're getting is amazing too!
Thanks ladies. The first day is three weeks away so I had a mini panic like feeling lol. I blame it on the hormones
Have tissues the day you drop off any supplies and at least for the first week. Waterproof mascara is nice too. I didn't think I would cry, but it hit me hard when I dropped LO off the first day and randomly at work. Hated people asking me about him because I would tear up each time.

Oh no! I'm having her start the week before I go back to work so we/I can adjust. I would like to cry alone at home lol.
