Reading the synopsis of Stephen King's novels scare the crap out of me. I can't handle reading them! LOL
When I read The Shining, I actually had to stop reading it at night in my room. The last night it spent with me, I locked it in a suitcase. I finished it outside during the day.
But damn if it's not soooooo good.
This makes me think of the Friends episode where Joey puts it in the freezer lol.

What I love about Stephen King is the amount of detail. I think that's why I've been disappointed in the movies. Actually, I thought The Stand movie was alright. The casting was perfect, except Molly Ringwald.
What I find scary about The Stand is that (the beginning part anyway with the flu) could totally happen! There was one part where he says something like, "he left a 5 dollar bill, crawling with death." That detail and his way with words - love.
cougarette I don't know all the details but medical coding just made a huge change that is wrecking havoc on doctors offices. My BFF does billing for his parents office and was explaining to me that they can't just code for a general diagnosis it needs to be broken down very specifically. Maybe this is why you got charged?
PS sorry if I don't make sense I'm like half asleep.
Yeah, it's so confusing now. And of course I forgot to call today since work was crazy, so I need to try and remember to call Monday. Or I wonder if I can get to a voicemail tomorrow. Worth a try at least.

Oh I can totally appreciate that he is a fantastic author. I just can't do scary lol! I can't imagine his bed time stories to his kids haha.
lilyelayne did you read his book On Writing I believe is it's name. It is supposed to be a fantastic and informative book about the process and art of writing.

It's pretty weird to imagine Steven King as a grandfather!
And, yes, On Writing is fantastic. Half memoir, half craft novel. I highly recommend it to any creative writer or anyone who likes memoirs & fiction.

I think we're going to do a ghost walk Friday night. I'm kicking myself because I left my Tula in Texas. Luckily my mom has it but I won't get it back until Saturday. Sad day.

I'm on mobile so I can't tag, but @lily I thought about you on my flight home yesterday. I read an article about haunted Mew Orleans and the voodoo shops and whatnot. It sounded awesome.

I played with a Oujia board once as a kid and some weird stuff happened. Those things are now banned at my house. Along with all Paranormal Activity movies and movies about exorcism.

Also chat with your friends to see if they have any local chiro recommendations. There's s really broad spectrum of treatment styles within chiropractic.

I'm laying here listening to the train go by. It's one of my favorite sounds in the world.
I really want to bring DS to stay at my sister's, but her condo is adjacent to train tracks and they blow their whistle all night long. Last time we visited we stayed in a hotel so the train wasn't an issue, but DH & my parents came too. If just DS & I go, a hotel doesn't make sense.
Also her condo is really open floor plan. There's a door to the bathroom & that's it. The bedroom is a loft.

Haha well we don't live on top of the train tracks. It's about five miles away. So far enough away that if you're laying in bed quietly, you can hear it in the distance. It's a relaxing sound to me

kaydee0402 " Diversified technique is what I use. I tell people to look for full spine diversified DCs. It should be on the website, but if it isn't and it's a doctor she wants to see she can call and ask what type of chiropractic medicine he/she practices." Or message me your preferred city and he can look into it.

Disclaimer is I've never actually been to another chiropractor, but typically when I talk to someone who had a poor experience, the details of the visit / treatment sound nothing like what DH does. Of course some people love the other types of chiropractic. So, grain of salt and all that.
