Yaaaaawn. I need to clean out our guest room in case my friend really does come into town for G's baptism, but knowing her it's such a slim chance it's not worth my effort.

So glad we're having post-baptism lunch at my mom's house. Not that my house is even an option - couldn't fit our parents & DH's siblings here, much less our grandmothers and G's godmother.

My dad is on his way home from South Dakota! Yay! But that probably means DH is going to want to try smoking some pheasant breasts next week. I don't like gamey bird, and I really don't like smoked gamey bird.

Health insurance is such bullshit.
I had my regular annual physical in September. It should be covered 100%. Well I got a bill for the blood work portion - almost $400!
I've called around to everyone. Turns out, thanks to the so-called "affordable" care act the blood work was denied because it wasn't for a diagnosis or something stupid like that. They changed what blood work is covered or whatever. So now I have to call my Dr's office and see if they can recode it. Though, is that even ok? Ugh so annoying.
Seriously though. This used to be covered 100%. HOW is this affordable??

I'll keep my thoughts mostly to myself (even though my political need is screaming), but that does suck. I hope they can recode it for you!

I haven't learned my lesson & am still reading It when nursing DS at night. Is the movie worth seeing? I don't actually like scary movies but I do like good book to movie adaptations.

No harm in asking if they can recode.
Your doctor's office may have been coding things differently in the past or may have messed up the coding.
DS has figured out that to stand up he needs to pull up on something. He stood up for the first time on his own in his crib. Previously he'd get his legs straight with his butt in the air but couldn't get his head and torso up. I need to lower his crib and block off the TV. Mama is not ready for a standing baby.
lilyelayne, I love me some Dark Tower! It's the first series that made me have an audible verbal reaction at the end, IYKWIM. And the Roland in my head is frickin' hawt.

lilyelayne, IT movie -- No, Don't. It has a weird non-book ending. I believe they are supposed to be making a new version, but I haven't heard much about it lately.
Reading the synopsis of Stephen King's novels scare the crap out of me. I can't handle reading them! LOL
When I read The Shining, I actually had to stop reading it at night in my room. The last night it spent with me, I locked it in a suitcase. I finished it outside during the day.
