Can you all enlighten me on what these contractions feel like? I get a random pain now and I think it may be Braxton Hicks. I did not feel any kind of pain with JA so all of this achy, soreness and now these random uncomfortable pains are new to me!

How far along are you? Could it be round ligament pain? That was worse the second time for me around 16-20 weeks I think, and having a previous csection (which you had, right? ) can make it worse because the scar tissue is being stretched.

I'm 20 weeks. It is like a tightening feeling that is uncomfortable, not painful but noticeable. My csection scar is definitely tender feeling but this is my whole lower abdomen. If I make any sense at all... I told my husband that my brain has a "case of the dumbs" lately, lol

I had BH from 27 weeksbon and it just felt tight, but when I had lots of them my belly would get sore. At 27 weeks they did get very painful and I was monitored in L&D and the monitor showed contractions and I was put on mag and given the steroid shots but they never made any changes to my cervix. I ended up being off work until delivery because they were si frequent and any activity would make them worse!
Like PP's said, it is just your ute tightening. They were not painful but could occasionally get uncomfortable, especially if I had a lot of them. I had them a lot with both pregnancies and they caused no issues. If I felt like I was having quite a few, I would just be careful to lay down for a little bit and drink some water.

mrsrek10, I agree with PP. It should just feel tight for a little bit. I know I would get them during the second half of my pregnancy off and on. Usually if I was dehydrated, stressed, or doing something more physical, like a long walk or cleaning. Hope you have some time to relax and start feeling better!
