I've been looking through my book of W.H.Auden's poetry.

I had forgotten how much I love his poems. Funeral Blues is spectacular. The Unknown Citizen is great too. And of course the couple I have quoted in my siggy.

Robert Frost is my second favorite. The Road Not Taken is the most well known one. But Nothing Gold Can Stay is beautiful. And Fire and Ice is short and nice.

I'm reading A Separate Peace. I'm pretty pathetic when it comes to reading. Although I do enjoy reading, I read for pure pleasure extremely rarely. This book is for my senior thesis advisee.

I love Frost's Mending Wall.

Just read your Frost suggestions; thanks!! I'm not sure what to make of Fire and Ice--- but reminds me of the song lyric "it's better to burn out than to fade away".

In making sure I had that lyric right I just learned Kurt Cobain had it in his suicide note. So sad.

Ok-- as someone who knows very little about gaming, can it be exciting to watch someone else play? My college roommate was into a few games and I found it odd when people would stop in for hours to watch her play. (I guess sometimes they would play too? I don't really remember.)

Am currently NOT reading "Advances in Neonatal Care" journal for work. Should be though....I have to do journal club this monday with my nurses.

I've been trying to get through Breaking Bad for a while but can't seem to. Maybe I need to try something new.

I'm reading What Alice forgot for my book club. I still need to read over half of it and book club is tomorrow. It's a really good book, but time has gotten away from me so I'm playing catch up.

As far as t.v. shows I watch a lot of current shows and I'm binge watching Supernatural on Netflix.

We are watching House of Cards right now. When I'm alone, I'm usually watching Revenge although I'm going to run out of episodes here soon.

I'm currently reading Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult.

I'm currently trying to get through "The Whole Brained Child"...looking for some tips for my toddler. Also, waiting to pick up "The Luckiest Girl Alive" from the library. Looking forward to reading that.

I'm so excited that all of the fall shows are starting this week! I fit those in when I'm not watching Bravo.

I love Call the Midwife and I just saw that season 4 came onto Netflix last week!! So much for getting anything done this week. Glllllllllll....

I need a "good" book. But not like.. Book club worthy, or the kind you admit to reading to people you know in real life... The kind you actually enjoy reading!

My last few books have all been duds, even one by an author I adore. ?

I go through phases.. New adult, sci fi, paranormal, contemporary romance. Not a huge fan of complete smut or chic lit.

My recent favorite was The Storyteller by Jodi Piccoult. Historical fiction with some romance thrown in.
