I haven't decided yet if LO and I are going to even try to go to bed. Atm I am feeling the sleep on the couch and baby in rock and play just so I literally don't have to move at all to feed and change and sleep.
So tired! She took two naps today - one I used to take a shower, the other I closed my eyes for 20 min and then she screamed so I held her for the rest of her nap. I thought she'd sleep tonight for sure. Nope. Been trying to put her to bed since 10. I've rocked her, nursed her off and on and given her a bottle. No idea why she is still awake but I am running on empty here. Thank goodness DH is sleeping in the guest room tonight...there's no way he could've slept through this meltdown
ETA - I'm near tears I'm so tired and she is still screaming
She just went 4 hours between feeds, of course, I only got to take advantage of 2 of those and she slept in bed with me. Going to try and put her in the RNP this time and see how it goes. She always spits up in it, even if I kept her upright for 30 minutes before putting her in it. Blech.
Ugh oh no! Is it bad enough you are needing to get treatment tonight? Fingers crossed he has an easy night and y'all can get the inhaler first thing tomorrow.

I got mad at DH tonight. I was freaking out (again) about my milk supply when he got home. Freaking out =crying. I asked if he wanted to hold LO while I did some pumping or if I should put him in the swing. He held him. In FIVE minutes, he tried to bring LO to me so he could shower! I let him know he could most certainly put LO in the RnP in the bathroom with him like I do everyday since I also needed to scrape a damn blister off my nipple with a needle... Just give me like ten minutes. Please.
DSHM13 - She may fight you, but could swaddling help? Sorry you're having a rough night!
runningmommy519 - poor little guy! I second the humidifier in his room, and a steamy shower asap. It always helps SD quickly when she gets congested, and in the meantime her room gets going with her "rainforest machine".
@jhalula09 - good luck!
esgrunner - ugh...why do they not understand that this stuff takes TIME? My husband will give up on A in like 30 seconds and it pisses me off. A few nights ago he tried passing her off because he had to sneeze. What.
E slept in her swing for 2.5 hours so I got to cuddle with my SO. She's asleep again now next to me so I'm hoping it lasts 2 more hours until SO gets up for work so I don't have to leave the room.
*hagrid voice* shouldn't have said that. I should NOT have said that. 2:30am. Time to kick mom in the stomach so she knows that sleep is for the weak & it's time to PARTY!

Ds1 feel asleep. I just checked on him and he seems to be doing ok. We have had a dehumidifier running. I'll be calling the dr first thing in the morning. I wanted to take him last night because our town has a 24 hr urgent care but hubby convinced me to wait.
Gosh he went from having a runny nose to that in less than 12 hours. DH and I were in the kitchen taking about going to bed when we heard two strange noises coming out of DS1 room. We were to check on him and by this point he started screaming then coughing. He was so scared.
I have no idea how I am suppose to keep him away from Ethan. Especially since he's always touching him.
I managed to get a video of the cough, not the best, but it's there.

runningmommy519 I'm sorry to hear he his sick. My DS had it last year and it sounds like a barking seal noise. Hopefully you can get him to the doctor first thing and he will recover quickly. Steamy showers work well too if he is in a coughing fit. Thinking of you.
layloo08 I can't believe the gripe water didn't work! It always works for us... usually immediately but we've had to give another tiny bit once or twice.
I got three hours of sleep. That was glorious. Now to wake up this sleeping baby so I can feed her. Can't wait til the doc says we can feed on demand overnight instead of on a schedule.

I gave a second "dose" and it stopped in about 5 minutes. Not sure if it was that or they ran their course!

Liked for the Hagrid voice. Laughed so hard W startled on my breast.
Bebe woke up basically on schedule. He cried as I changed his diaper and wouldn't take his pacifier to calm down. I but the bullet and took us to normal a bed so that he could have forced routine. Of course, screaming baby woke DH who stormed out, did something, then stormed back in. So now after E was done being fed he and I moved onto the couch so as to not disturb DH's precious sleep. (My eyes were in full rolling effect, no offer of help just angry DH makes an apathetic wife)

My girl so is squirmy these days. Trying to keep her upright after feedings is a major challenge and upper body workout! Poor thing cause I think gas is to blame when she's doing it in her sleep.
These 2am feedings have turned in to 2 hour ordeals as she'll only scream unless latched on to me. Then she'll take in too much milk and spit everywhere..
I was exhausted an hour ago but now she's asleep and I'm wide awake.
runningmommy519 don't know a lot about croup but I hope he feels better soon.
DSHM13 hope you get off the schedule soon. They suck and having to wake a sleeping baby is the worst. Fx you get to feed on demand soon (or on your own schedule whichever you prefer).
I made a swaddle from flannel mom's on call style (44x44) and swaddled W not mom's on call style because he hates that and actually got some frigging sleep. He slept for 3 hours which means I slept for 3 hours!!! And I had time to pump after putting him down (which only took some light rocking). I only got 20 mls so that sucks but he had just fed so I'm hoping it's that. This flannel swaddle is amazing.
