This is good to know. I am looking into contacts and am feeling overwhelmed by all of the types of contacts but also by the cost. DH gave me a hard time last night because I could get new lenses and frames that would last 2-3 years for the same price as one year of contacts.
When I first got them, I tossed them every day. Then I started extending the wear and had no problems. I usually buy a box or two when I go for an exam, then right before my prescription runs out, I buy another couple boxes so that I can put my exam off for a few months. I save so much money this way.
Mine stick to my eyeballs if I do more than one day even if I take 'em out and rinse. I used to stretch the two week wear to a month every month.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
This is high on my list of concerns about what will happen to me when I convert to working from home next year. I need to start upping my willpower asap.
When I started working at home, a colleague who'd been doing it forever told me "Be careful what you put in your fridge. Because you will eat all of it." It was so, so true. Having a standing desk and dancing around as I work makes me feel better about it.

I want a standing desk so bad.
Our house came with one, luckily. It's a small flap one that can fold down on the wall if need be. I would like a bigger one, but it's still great. I do feel it's made a difference in both my energy levels and my migraines.
I went on vacation for two weeks and when I came back to work today I discovered the work environment has become a tense and angry situation, a co-worker in my department has turned in their retirement notice and there is a rumor that another co-worker in my department has filed a hostile work environment complaint against the department head.

My entire office is moving buildings in November. The rumor around the office is that we are all getting desks that can either be sitting or standing. I really hope it's true!

Wow. Welcome back
Yikes! That sounds like a big bucket of NOPE.
Hope you're able to get by despite the negativity. Maybe bring in doughnuts/cookies or something to boost morale!

There's no drinking thread and I accidentally had all the wine and all the triggers are making me sad and I'm feeling super whiney and sad. All the funny GIFs??

akraus2015 boo for sadz and triggers. I had two margs (they are $4 at the bar across from my hotel, who can turn that down) so at least you're not drinking alone. I'm working on funny gifs...this made me laugh at least...

Dear diary....
Eek...they got me in on Oct 5th with a different doctor than normal. Its an extended appointment so now I'm scared and overthinking things. Looks like he is more specialized in possible issues with fertility. (I know an RE would be/will be needed and no unmonitored clomid) but making this appointment scares me in so many ways. It feels like its the first new step in what may be an even longer and harder/stressful journey than the past 11 months of trying (and a few months of getting my cycles regulated off the pill to prepare for the journey-not trying though)
Eta..and I thought I was in WTO thread when I posted this....wow really sorry I can't read properly tonight.

butlerfan good luck...easier said than done but take it all one step at a time. I'm super overwhelmed when I meet with my RE and consider next steps, but I just try to ask a ton of questions and break things down as small as possible, which helps me a lot. Hang in there!

butlerfan - good luck! I still haven't gone to the RE, but we had initial testing done with my GYN and I felt relieved that now its not just me and DH trying to get me pregnant, someone else is willing to go out of their way to help us too. She told me that there was no reason I wouldn't be able to get pregnant, and whether or not that was true, it really helped me feel a little better in this journey.
