On Saturday we went to an air show at a nearby naval base. They haven't had one there in 5 years, so it was nice to see it again. Ms first time, obviously. He loved seeing the airplanes and kept asking to see them again.
M with his Blue Angel while watching the Blue Angels.
And Sunday we went to a horse race. It was a first for all of us. It was way too hot (96*) but M did good and was "so excited to see the animals".

We did the Lowe's Build and Grow Fire Truck on Saturday and all Henry wanted to do was swing the little hammer around at everything. My H did an excellent job at actually building it And oh look...Cece's awake (this was while the other 3 were sleeping on Friday afternoon)
summergirl1211, we are planning to go to the big candy store this weekend after an apple orchard! The orchard/apple picking was my one main request for my birthday - I haven't gone in years, and wanted to last year and we never did.
Since they close soon, H wanted to go to the candy store too, so we're going to an orchard not far so we can do them both on the same day!
We didn't do too much really. My parents last minute called on Saturday and offered to take the girls for the evening so H and I went to Lowes and out to dinner lol we live very exciting lives

trixi282, have fun! Just beware the construction just north of the candy store is AWFUL. Between the construction and traffic from the Renaissance Faire, it was pretty ridiculous. We still had a good time though, and my parents were only slightly overwhelmed.

Oh yeah... construction, always! And it will be the last weekend of Ren Faire, so I'm sure it will be crazy busy with traffic. Thanks for the heads up!
