I'm totally all bitch eating crackers when it comes to Jeremy's mom commenting on my fb pics. She is just a fun sucker. Things like I put up a pic of Alex on a towel that has a beach scene printed on it and made a joke about first trip to the beach. She comments with "that's not the beach, it's just a towel. Beaches have sand." Agh!!! Or a pic of dd2's Barbie car jokingly offering rides, "that car really isn't mea t for people. You guys have a real car, right?"
Hell, her comment on a pic this morning wasn't even that bad, but still made my eye twitch. It's a pic of alex wearing Jeremy's sun glasses, captioned "too cool for the grocery store." And her only comment? "Jeremy's glasses!" See? Not awful, but stop sucking all the fun!!
My rainbow arrived 10/15/14.

I'm sorry sunny is still struggling with reflux. I know that I've mentioned it here several times but after switching from Zantac to Prilosec our DD had had only minor spit-ups. No more huge pukes! It's been such a huge relief. Not sure if that would help your sweet girl, but it might be worth discussing.
Well she's not being treated yet at all. The pedi didn't want to because she's happy and growing. This is true about 80% of the time. Then there are days when she won't eat, will cry as she spits up, and we soak 4 outfits and multiple bibs. Last week, the nanny called me very upset because Sunny would reflux, scream, then refuse the bottle. Repeat all day until she fell asleep. It gets to be very distressing. Plus, the laundry...
Wow, that is a lot of spit up. Hope that calms down for you soon!

Re: movies I liked "This is Where I Leave You" Good cast! Worth renting! I watched "Men, Women & Children" yesterday and felt sooooo depressed afterwards. Hated it.

Ugh. We have to take a "strengths assessment" at work by tomorrow and I've avoided it all week. It's timed and you only get 20 seconds per question. I hate that, just because someone is retiring, now we're all being tested and going to reorganize our office. If it doesn't come with a pay raise, I'm not interested.
Yesterday was a shit show at work. I got bitched at by so many people, it was unreal. I'm hoping today is much better. Also, I'm sending my mom this painting DS "painted" at daycare. How freaking cute is this?!

So I've been peed on and spit up on but snotted on I think takes the cake! Dd has a cold right now and just sneezed all over my face!!
My favorite is when he's got a snotty nose and nurses- and it just smears snot all over my breast.
Every time I carry lo in the front carrier he wipes his nose back and forth on my shirt so I have s line of snot between my boobs. I give no fucks and wear the shirt anyway.
I still usually nurse Emma to sleep and we cosleep. Am I screwed guys? I like my fairly decent sleep.
If you are, so am I. This is our basic set up. I put DS in the co-sleeper for his first and sometimes second stretches of sleep, then bedshare after that. I may need to figure something out soon though bc he only has about 2 inches of clearance on either end of his co-sleeper.
I put DD to bed last night (still in our room) and H was just BLABBING away. He has one of those loud voices too and I kept going SHHhhh and he didn't listen and woke her up. So he goes over and start PLAYING with her. I go cool have fun with the baby I'm going to sleep. So he lays down with her and a couple minutes later he yells OW! F had a handful of his chest hair, heh heh heh
Hubs does this shit all the time. He doesn't understand that he is LOUD. Then he holds A upright and bounces him, which may stop him from screaming but always wakes him up.

Can you block her? I've become a block happy notch lately. You're blocked and you're blocked. You get a block and so do you! I just really only like you notches lately.
DS became a unicorn baby last night and slept from 9-5. Unicorn baby then overate from boulder boobs and had a massive projectile spitup all over my work outfit. Not sure if this is a win or not.
So we have this giraffe that plays music and the stomach lights up. DD loves staring at the light but it only stays on for like two minutes. Once it goes off she screams. Does anyone know of something with a light that stays on longer? Are these the things that get too hot and start on fire?
jeniece47 - DD has this panda plush toy. light stays on for 10 minutes. She loves this thing. It also plays music. We got it as a gift so not sure where it came from, but found it on amazon

DD woke up in the night crying "Mimmie... Mimmie... Mimmie!" with her eyes tightly shut (that means either Mickey or Minnie). Guessing she had a bad dream, poor girl.
I took her temp at that time and it was 101.4 so I went ahead and gave her some tylenol to help her sleep more comfortably. This morning she's at 99.4 so much better.
Thats what she's in... I wrap her tight and she still wiggles her arms up by her face.
DD used to do this all the time, it was like she had no control over her hands. Have you ever seen the movie idle hands? Cause it kind of looks like that. They would just creep up from her swaddle while she was fast asleep and attack her face and wake her up. I had to stop swaddling, even though she sleeps better that way. Her startle reflex isn't completely gone yet but she is sleeping better arms out. We use a halo sleep sack too.

crawford411 that's how Alex was. The pedi acted like spitting up wasn't a big deal, even when I told her it was enough to soak h's shirt. But because he didn't do it after every bottle and he was gaining weight, she was hesitant to prescribe. Zantac didn't do the trick and now he's on omperazole. I hope you can get her on an antacid soon!

Awe, poor Sunny, hope pedi can help! She's adorable here though, spit up and all.

C is going through the dreaded 4 month sleep regression (took 4 hours to go to sleep last night) and DH just e-mailed me to let me know that he thinks we need to put her down earlier. Well, considering that our evening schedule is tight as it is, unless he wants to start cooking dinner or eat frozen meals for the next several months, then no. His response - I guess we can try that (him helping cook dinner). Even if he just comes up to help prep the food when I nurse C, it would save time. But let's see how long this help actually lasts. I am betting two weeks and then he will "get too busy with home work" (I can see that one or two nights but every single night when I hear the X box on, nope, sorry dude).

crawford411 hope the pedi prescribes something for Sunny! I go back and forth thinking Owen has reflux, but he mostly only spits really bad and cries when he eats too fast. I'm keeping an eye on it, but since he's so huge our pedi doesn't think it's a problem either.
syllessa wtf with the obvious comments? That gives me a special type of rage. It's like she wants people to know she didn't "fall for it" or something.
Hugs to everyone dealing with sleep issues today. We are still working on naps in the crib. He sleeps great there during the night, but the day is another story for some reason. I'm thinking it is probably because I don't swaddle for naps and he is flat on his back now instead of in a swing or bouncer or on me. Anyway, I end up with a very fussy overtired baby by evening because of the short naps. Blah. Hoping it gets better soon.
Sorry to all the mommas with horses and donkeys. I hope the unicorn dust gets to your babies soon. Until then drink all of the coffee and eat all of the cake!
I worked out again with FSIL last night and it requires using the weights. So 1) I know I will feel this later; 2) I really hate looking at all those skinny tan bitches on the workout dvd (throw me a bone and put a pp women on there or a least somebody with a little pudge; and 3) I am so out of shape.
That is all I have for you now so I will leave you with these:
