So today I'm meeting the rest of my students. I work in a fairly, uh, diversified area. As I'm stumbling through names that are less than familiar to me I come across "Ahnisti." I pause and venture "Ah-nis-ti?" Nope. It's pronounced "Honesty."

I refuse to pay $15 for Jamberry when literally every kind of polish won't stay on my nails. I've spent so much money on gels and good brands and super base coats and the only things that'be ever stayed on were acrylics and salon-applied gels.

Plus, I've only ever seen patterns and I'm just not a patterned-nail kind of girl.

I have terrible style so stitchfix is awesome for me. I loved everything I got in mine today! Yay!! Came to the mall today and forgot the stroller so Jules is in the baby carrier facing out!! She's getting so big!

I used to like bright colors on my fingernails until I had a baby and no time to touch it up. . I only buy pink-ish shades, too. I have some purples but a lot of them are too gaudy for me.

I always feel like I look dumb with nail polish on. I wish I could find a color that looks good.

I don't really think I should have to pay for days I am forced to keep him home if he isn't sick and they just think he might be. Though if their caution keeps him healthy the next go around I will probably change my tune! I do love his teachers and think they are doing the right thing, it just made for a frustrating day for me.

Ugh, been there before. It sucks, but they're being cautious.

I think it's a typical daycare thing. I know that's the rule at our place and all of the ones we looked at.

+1 normal daycare thing.  I've paid for entire weeks that my kid was too sick too attend, some including daycare imposed cautionary days.

We settled on a Honda Pilot. It has latch anchors in all 6 backseats! The guy was showing us all the technology stuff and I totally interrupted him. "Are there SIX latch locations? That's so great!" Bluetooth ain't got nothing on installing multiple car seats with ease.

We just got a 2016 Honda Pilot 2 months ago-- love it!

We haven't been using our carrier much lately, but last month (2.5-3 months) we had Jacob facing outward

Yes. Made the switch a couple of weeks ago. LO will be 4 months tomorrow and is 13lb. I think size 1 and 2 overlap weight range of that makes any sense. I have an economy size case of size 1 I need to return...

We just bought a box of 1's from Costco and I still have a box of pampers for day care. She seems fine in them still, no blow outs or anything. I just weighed us this morning and realized she was 13lbs and it dawned on me that I should check the diaper sizes.

Definitely in size 2s here as well since a few weeks ago. He probably could've been in 1s for another week, but I wasn't going to run out for another box and then not use them all.
