In my dream last night, I was pregnant. It felt so real that I am going to take a test just to make sure. (Even though I'm showing no symptoms and we're not TTC.)

I woke up feeling like death today. I caught the cold DS had this week. He's seems to be better today other than having a cough.
Would I be a terrible parent if I send DS to daycare while I rest? He only has a cough left and no fever and is eating and running around still. He goes to a small in home daycare and I talked to her and she said it was fine to bring him today, but I feel guilty taking him while I'm at home sleeping??

I scrubbed my kitchen top to bottom on Saturday. Today it looks like a bomb went off in there. I'm working from home today so i will be cleaning on breaks.

I hate that. I vacuumed 2 days ago, and my floors look like they haven't been done in weeks.
Is 11 months too early to only do one nap? I cannot remember when DS1 started napping only once a day.... Sorry!
I don't remember when DD dropped down to one nap, but it was older than 11 months. DS still does 3 naps a day (of varying quality/length). How long s his one nap?

He's been doing two naps, one of 2 hours and one of 1 hour. Yesterday we decided to do Ferber because it was getting out of hands with the sleeping and today he has decided to take the longest nap ever... He's on 3h20m and counting.

I dropped DD off with my parents this morning and they informed me that they both have colds. So now I'm sitting at work thinking I should've just taken DD home and called in to work because I don't want her to get yet another cold, especially when she's supposed to start daycare next week.

How is so much mess created in a short amount of time? I feel like every day I'm constantly cleaning up.

He is likely adjusting to the new normal. Some kids start to drop to one around 12 months but if I remember HSHHC correctly, 15-18 months is average. We dropped to one out of necessity in our schedule around 12 months, but he falls asleep in the car earlier still at 16 months.

I would definitely send him to daycare if he doesn't seem to be contagious. You need your rest so you can get better!

It would be great for our schedule if he would nap once a day. I just, for the life of me, cannot remember if it's normal or not lol

That sounds like my house. With a messy DH, a one year old and 3 cats, nothing can stay clean for more than 10 minutes. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother.
twaffle if it's a long nap I wouldn't worry about it. I think as long as they are getting enough sleep in 24 hours, it's not as big a deal when the sleep happens.
DS and I both feel like crap this morning he caught a cold and is stuffy and coughing; I just feel yucky. At least he's sitting quietly watching a movie and sorta eating his oatmeal.

DS is 20months and he's down to one long nap a day. He usually does anywhere from a 2-4 nap on the weekends. He still does 2 hour naps at daycare though.
