So I am thinking about taking the kids to the Monster Truck show. Has anyone ever been? Is is too loud for a 4year old and an 18 month old?
We took DS when he was 3. He loved it! We had ear plugs for him to wear, it was definitely loud. I would say your 4 yo would be fine for sure. Not sure about the 18 mo. I saw some younger kids there who were upset by the noise. Do ear plugs/headphones for sure!
I wouldn't have left. You snooze you lose. You aren't out here, I am.

I really don't think you would have told my precious angel "you snooze you lose" It wasn't that intense, they had just parked and were walking up to our house as we were walking out to start selling so she practically volunteered to leave. I'm sure I didn't look all that intimidating - probably that she didn't want to crush the spirit of my little Daisy in her blue vest clutching her order form excitedly.
I know Larry happened. Please do not try to convince me otherwise. Please don't talk to me about coffee. I don't drink it. I don't caffeine. When I state my opinion, that is me chiming in on a topic. This is not me saying you suck at life if you do or feel differently. If I want to say that, I will. If I want to speak on you, I will.

I just signed my name to a bunch of letters and it made me flashback to when I got engaged and practiced writing my name over and over...because yes, I was a dork

Oh. I thought you chased her away. Cool.
Well, I mean the fact that I was carrying a baseball bat with me probably didn't hurt

So it's amortized at 30 years but due in 15 (from the start of loan). I originally just calculated what my monthly payment would be it was amortized at 15 years and I pay that. Is that good?
I still want to start making some larger lump payments so we can get it paid a few years early.
I don't understand any of this but am in awe that you are paying it off that early. Every once in a while I see list titled something like "how to pay off your mortgage faster" and the first helpful hint is always to pay it every two weeks instead of monthly. Like, if I could afford that I'd probably have a nicer house.
@sweptaway what they mean is to pay half your mortgage payment every two weeks. At the end of the year, you'll have made one extra mortgage payment - thirteen instead of twelve.
