Robin is obsessed with pajamas lately. I think he must have talked with mightybee's Dylan. But he calls them "jamas," pronounced juh-MAHS, with the emphasis on the second syllable. No idea where he got it since we both call them PJs.
In Panda Bear Panda Bear there's a whooping crane. Robin calls it a "souping crane."
Today was freezing in our house so I put on my robe. It's gray fleece with white polka dots. Tommy sees me and says "ohhhh mommy! I like that dress. Where did you get that dress?" He's been coming out with some cute things lately.
Patrick likes putting toilet paper in the toilet after I wipe him and he likes to put a lot in there. I told him the other day that if he puts too much in then it would break. And a broken toilet costs a lot of money. I think I said,"we don't want to put money down the toilet" and he said, "we want money in our pockets not in the toilet." I knew he was a smart one. ?
paddyb after I had Freya my BFF came over to meet her & Dagny asked her if she had a baby in her tummy. Oh kids.
This morning my H went upstairs to get Dagny & she stood up, lifted her nightgown & exclaimed "I have lots of pee in my diaper!" She wasn't wrong, kid pees a ton overnight!
When my nephew was little they used to go swimming at the Y and there was this guy there with a huge belly. My nephew said," whoa look at that guys belly!" The guy obviously heard him but didn't say anything. My sister had a talk with him about not saying stuff like that. well the next time we went he said, "mom, look the guy with the big belly is here. But I'm not going to say anything!" He screamed it from across the pool. We both wanted to hide.
The other night I opened Ms room because his room seems to be pretty hot at night. Well the crickets were in full force that night. I put him to bed and 5 no later he came out telling me to close his window because it was "too crickety".
For a whole week Liam kept singing "TJ Maxx...TJ Maxx.." I figured it must have been a catchy jingle from a commercial or something. Until he told me he wanted to watch it on TV and figured it must be a show but I had no idea what it was. Well, finally figured out yesterday he wanted to watch PJ MASKS, the new Disney Jr. show! It does have a catchy intro song lol.
Henry has been asking for a sister most days for like 2 months. Yesterday we were shopping and he said "my sister is growing up". Huh?
One day he was eating a sandwich and he said "this bread is good! Where did you get it?"
One day I was patting his back then he came up behind me and smacked me on the butt and said "do you like that?" I of course said no then he did it again and said "then dont do it to me then!"
When I get my coffee from Dunkin after work, my DS orders a "water coffee" - which the works know mean a cup like mine with a little water in it. They are great and humor him and always give him one.
Yeaterday, he asked them for a "pumpkin water coffee " because I always order a pumpkin coffee ....
Maybe not so much "cute" but more embarrassing...every time we go somewhere where we have to order something to drink (but not at Dunkin because he knows that's the coffee place) Henry asks me really loud "you're getting wine, right Mommy?" Super fun. Especially at the movies today.

Nicky calls Emmy "MeeMee" and it's kind of stuck as with all of us her nickname. I called her MeeMee in front of my nephew the other day. He told me, "it's Emily, Auntie. EH-MAH-LEE". And looked at me like I was stupid.

A few times after Abby's bath or during a change I will pat her little naked butt and say' "spank that butt,"Jokingly. The other day Benjamin did it to Abby and better yet, when I was changing he snuck up behind me and patted my underwear covered butt saying spank that butt!! Lol Today he came over and said, " somebody pooped in their diaper over there!" Meaning Abby which we knew because she is the only diaper wearer in the house! Haha Also, kind if cutsie/ funny: I was telling mh that it was his job to do something and a couple mins later B says, oh! I'm going to go get toys for Abby because that's my job!
Emmett has always refused to eat peanut butter sandwiches. Every time. We would try regular, cut it, let him make it, use cookie cutters to make fun shape. He would never eat them. This weekend he is at grandmas and she asks if he wants a peanutbutter sandwich and he tells her, "yum those are my favorite!" Then eats two whole sandwiches! It was cute, but infuriating at the same time.
Also, he always says getfor instead of forget. "Don't getfor my Minnie."
Today I told Kayleigh I had a surprise for her (I was going to make some popcorn). She got all excited asking what it the surprise was. I asked her what she thought it was. She gets all excited and tells me "more Andrews". Then she goes on this whole story about what she is going to name them. Apparently she really wants more brothers and sisters. Not happening by the way....

Haha Sadie asked for another baby but this one should be in dad's belly. I was like "kid, you figure that out and we can definitely have another baby!!!"

I was asking Aubrey if she wanted to wear her gym shoes because I thought they would be more comfortable than the shoes she wanted to wear. I think I have her convinced to switch and say so do you want to wear the gym shoes and she says " of course I don't!"

Tyler is a fierce negotiator. We've been reading the binky fairy book, and last night he decided to give his binkies away, except he "just wanted to keep one, but she can have the rest and bring me my toy." Nope. Nice try though.

A couple months back, Kayleigh told me her old daycare teacher was pregnant (she's not). She went into a story about how her teacher ate all this food, and it created magic in her belly and grew a baby. She was doing all these hand gestures and was all animated about how it happens. I have no clue where she got that but it was really cute.
So, I'm pregnant and DD knows that my big belly has a baby in it. Of course, other body parts have grown too. So she asked me if there is also a baby in my boobs.
Dylan turns the phrase "I don't have enough hands" into "I've got too many hands."
He always has commentary on his poop. Today he "made a chicken!"
He still calls every meal dinner.
Joey does this too! She says "I have too many hands!" when her hands are full. Or if I ask her to pick something up and she already has something in her hands. I LOVE it.
she also says something similar to origamimommy's tyler: when she talks about something that was yesterday, in the morning specifically, she says "last morning" and it always makes me smile. Like "last night we did this" - "last morning we went to the store".
I also love when she says random cute things. We were eating dinner at IL's house about 2 weeks ago, and got pizza. There was one slice left, and FIL knew I hadn't had much after getting up with Emme - so he slid the last piece onto my plate and J randomly looks at me and says "Oh, that was so nice of him!"
Just this morning, she woke up a little early and as I was getting ready to leave she asked for fruit snacks, I said no - they were for later, it was too early for fruit snacks. So she says "can I have marshmallow cereal please? Pretty please? Pretty, pretty please?" all sweet with her folded... then immediately says "And I'll eat the cereal too mommy, not just the marshmallows!" because I always have to remind her that she has to eat it all before she can have something else or have more... Little stinker.
Patrick is a negotiator too. We always negotiate how many books to read at bedtime depending on how early it is. A couple of weeks ago we agreed on 4 books for that night. After we got done with the first he goes, "Ok, that was number zero." I thought it was pretty smart so we read 5 books that night, 0,1,2,3,4. I can't wait until he learns about negative numbers or fractions.
