Feeling great on a Sunday morning!

Thanksgiving dinner tonight. I plan to be in a turkey coma by 6!

Just getting off of work. Now a nap, then pumpkin patch, carving/painting pumpkins and homemade chicken noodle soup! So excited for today!

A little grocery shopping and cooking for the week. Realized we have some frozen meals so should be easier. I also need to make some applesauce for baby breakfast.

Watching rugby world cup this afternoon.

Hi ladies!

I can't decide if I should go to the actual pumpkin patch or the built one with bouncy castles. Either way I think pumpkin carving is happening today.

Sending DH for coffee since he wanted to run to the store.

Scored a Chicco Nextfit for 160 at BRU super excited!

Today we jumped in the car super early and headed to my parents for thanksgiving. We had two stops along the way - cleaning up puke on the side of the 401 and a speeding ticket from the opp. Awesome!

I'm the same way. Every Sunday DH and I try to come up with a menu for the week and we just can't. I need to get out some of my favorite cookbooks and look through them again.

I'm the same way. Every Sunday DH and I try to come up with a menu for the week and we just can't. I need to get out some of my favorite cookbooks and look through them again.

I'm making a list of every meal I make. And then I'm going to add recipes I want to try. And then I'm going to try meal planning two weeks at a time, so I feel less like every time I turn around I'm picking out meals again.

I also need to go through the deep freeze and catalogue all the meat in there but ugh that seems like a big project. I know I've got ground deer and deer sausage in unknown quantities.

I got a pretty good haul at the book sale. I filled two big bags for $22.50. Now to add them to my goodreads shelves (and physical shelves. We actually need another book case).

I know I never post anymore but I still lurk.

LO's new trick is pulling himself up. This is putting a major kink in nap time routines. I basically am forced to nurse him to sleep or he will just stand up and laugh and play because he's so proud of himself. Anyone else found a solution for this or is nap time just doomed from here on out? He's also back to only sleeping 40 minutes at a time, but I'm not sure if that's related.

Also he's been constipated for like a week. Hard poop Sunday/Monday of last week, decent Tuesday, nothing Wednesday, HUGE blowout Thursday (thought we were over it), nothing Friday/Saturday, and now firm again this morning. He won't drink the water or prune juice, and won't eat the puréed prunes either. Think we're heading to the doc tomorrow.

We went to a local air show today for H's work picnic. It was a lot of fun. I started with a splitting headache so I was afraid we would have to leave but it improved drastically thank goodness.

H just ran into the store to pick up me st for dinner tonight because I ,too,am uninspired and he wants to make burgers so win for me.

junebugjam sorry things are so rough lately! No experience with either of those problems yet, but can you mix the prunes in another food he likes? Hope you get something figured out & LO decides to sleep again soon.

junebugjam no advice but we are in the same exact situation! Have to nurse to sleep for naps or he stands and plays the hold dang time. Sometimes if I repeatedly lay him down he gets the message and goes to sleep

junebugjam I need to sleep train for naps as well. No advice as DS doesn't nap much at daycare and sleeps really well on weekends on me after nursing or in the stroller. I nurse to sleep at night and shush pat as much as I can once he's in the crib. DS is similar but it's trying to crawl and talk instead of standing. Child is a chatterbox when it's time to sleep.

My plan was to start sleep training this week since I am off work from my eye surgery, but I love the snuggle that comes when he nurses to sleep and when he snuggles down asleep in my arms after he eats MOTN. I have to remind myself that he really needs to learn to fall asleep on his own, that he really should he sleeping for longer than 2/3/4 hr stretches and that he doesn't need to eat that often at night.... maybe tomorrow night we'll start sleep training.

junebugjam +1 for apples and pears. DD is also standing and dancing in her crib and her glorious 1.5-2hr naps are gone as well. Basically, I have no advice but I can commiserate?
