I'm still nursing a hungover stomach. Nothing horrible but just feels sour and like I need to eat something constantly. So, I'm sipping on grapefruit La Croix.

We've been out shopping all day. I'm one of "those people" with Christmas stuff. I have to look and buy stuff, especially at Pier 1 because all the good stuff gets snatched up by employees so not much is left to put out.

Water here. Just finished a nice roast turkey dinner with homemade pumpkin pie and wine.
It was great to have a big family dinner that my mom cooked. DS had a blast meeting some new people and eating everything he could get his hands on

Me too! So glad we found this place. We just bought our house last year and were so happy when we were told about the annual block party!

This year was just as fun as last-complete with apple bobbling in a metal bucket. Where else do you still see that?

I am seriously considering hiring a cleaner. Like even once a month would be a huge improvement. I have a seriously fluffy cat and my house is disgusting as a result.  I actually tidied up a little bit today because we had some people over but now it's a wreck again, what with all the serving implements laying about.  And I'm pretty much just bone tired and don't feel like cleaning any of it up, and would rather sit here and drink 2 more beers and then go to bed.

Tl;dr: I am dirty and lazy lol

Pumking and Warlock by Southern Tier are good. I like Warlock best. That only comes in a 22 bottle.pumking comes in a 4 pack.

Terripen did a collaborative beer with Hebrew that was a chocolate pumpkin beer...it was called Reunion ale I believe.

Kentucky Bourbon Barrel ale has a good pumpkin. As does New Belgian. That one has cranberry in it.

I haven't tried it, but there a Brewery out of PA called Weyerbacker and they have a Pumpkin beer that, if it's like their other stuff, is probably solid.

I also want to try Dogfish Head's pumpkin beer.

I need to go get a make your own six pack.
