Personally, I can't stand pumpkin beer, but i've heard the Weyerbacher one is decent. Southern Tier is also to be ok. One that i've haven't seen mentioned much is Smuttynose- it's one of the least sweet ones. (Sorry I screwed up quote somehow, too many drinks to fix.) ---- I love pumpkin beer and agree the southern tier and smuttynose are good! Someone mentioned dogfish head and that's good too. I love the curious traveler pumpkin shandy too. Pumpking is great. I can only have like one of any of them but they're all good.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

I am probably triggering tomorrow night. If I wasn't on orders from my RE to not drink I'd probably be smashed right now. My stepdad left my mom last night. I guess he had been cheating and when confronted he just refused to admit it and just packed his stuff rather than deal with the fallout. My sister and niece were living with them and my niece is three. She was bawling, not understanding why her Poppie is not going to live there anymore. I'm not looking forward to explaining it to my kids either. Why do people have to suck?

onesweetworld I worry that's what I'm doing too. We have two dogs, one cat, and horse and my house is small (horse does not live here ha) so know a new dog is not best idea right now. But I still want one...

Ugh. People do suck. Hugs to your mom, what a shitty situation.

I love so many other beers. I just can't get into pumpkin beers, no matter how hard I try.

wannabmama I feel so sorry for her, but at the same time she has such shitty taste in men. This is her fifth husband, and the third to cheat. One of the others beat the shit out of her and my siblings, and the other was so emotionally abusing and controlling, even stalking and raping her when she filed for divorce. It's like she is a magnet for it or something. Eta: I in no way thinks she deserves this, no one deserves this. It's just frustrating to see her go through it over and over with men who tell her what she wants to hear and then do this kind of thing.

Oh man that's so rough. I have a best friend who has similar tragic taste in men. It's so hard to watch. Hugs to you. I'm sorry you've had to be part of her situations.

I'm not sure what the right words are to say, but I hope your mom is ok.

Thanks. I think she will be eventually. We were talking tonight and she said she just wants to focus on herself and her kids/grandkids for a while. I think it's a good idea. I'm just trying to be supportive. Being the oldest sucks sometimes.

Omg! That is so horrendous that I can't begin to imagine. It's so sad that anyone could go through so much over and over.

This sounds super cheesy, but it sounds like your mom needs to take sometime to learn to love herself. I think it's good that she wants to focus on herself and family. I hope she does that.

No one is perfect, but my mom is probably one of he most selfless and generous people I know. She doesn't deserve this and it breaks my heart. I hope she takes time to heal and do exactly that. She really had started to and I thought my stepdad was a great guy and really a good thing for her. I'm just not sure what happened.

1 nutsy dog, 4 cats in a 4 bedroom house. My parents have my extra large dog. I would do almost anything to have her here with us but she is attached to my parents dogs. I would trade pretty much anything to have her with me.
I'm a fan of Pumpking, but I've heard good things about Shipyard Pumpkinhead. I haven't been able to find that one here in the PNW, so I haven't been a ble to try it.
It is the ultimate classic. I mentioned Post Road Pumpkin earlier because I really love it, but the truth is that Shipyard will always be the king in my mind. It also doesn't hurt that you can get it on tap almost everywhere around here (Boston area). A few times I have actually gotten it directly from the brewery in Maine too and it's on a whole other level.
If you do end up locating it in your area, try it--you will not be disappointed. And don't forget the cinnamon sugar rim
Shipyard Pumpkinhead is my SO's favorite, and he isn't a fan of pumpkin. There's a large bottle of it currently in my fridge.
(FFFC I don't like beer so if you were to ask me I'd say it tasted gross, like any otherbeer I've tried in the history of ever.)
