QOTW: 1. Are you having a baby shower or a sex reveal party for this pregnancy? 2. What are your most recent pregnancy related Google searches (or other search engine if you don't use Google)?
We will be finding out the sex of the baby at our next ultrasound in a few weeks.
2. Midwife appointment is tomorrow and we have an ultrasound coming up in just over two weeks. Our hospital has a new policy that they don't tell you the sex during the ultrasound, they indicate the sex in the report and you need to wait until your next OB or midwife appointment.
3. Same old in terms of symptoms: puke. On a positive note, I'm definitely noticing that my energy level is increasing and I now have the capacity to stay up after 9:30 PM.
QOTW: 1. We are definitely having a baby shower, I'm pretty sure that my mother-in-law is already working on it. I also know that both my coworkers and C's coworkers plan on planning something. I guess this means that I should work on a registry.
In terms of having a sex reveal party, I'm not actually all that into the idea however, a lot of the older women in our family are dying to attend one so now, we're rethinking it because it might be a cute way to tell our whole, huge family without dealing with any questions about who knew first.
2. Mine include: pooping in pregnancy, can I eat lobster while pregnant, what astrological sign is somebody born on March 28 (it's Aries by the way - people keep asking), good sources of iron while pregnant.
3. Sleep = blahhh - I am a broken record! Lots of movement - yay! I have been getting cramps in the bottom of my feet, mostly at night, the last week or so. I got them last pregnancy too. They are not pleasant. Otherwise, not much else to report. Just trucking along!
QOTW: 1. Neither. We had a shower for William (well, at the time we thought he was a baby girl we planned to name Lucie). It was a large shower with all of our family and friends, and everyone was very generous. I also had a work shower last time around. We are team green, so no reveals for us until this kiddo's birthday!
2. I haven't googled anything pregnancy related in a little while, but I did google about round ligament pain and when people felt strong movement in 2nd pregnancy a bit ago (maybe around 12 and 15 weeks respectively). I do google things a lot in general, but I can't think of anything exciting that I have googled recently.

1. General overview - 9w1d, expecting 2
2. Appointment Updates - we have an ultrasound and bloodwork at the RE tomorrow. I'm seriously going to BEG to be taken off endometrin (I'm also on PIO). I've been having cramps and spotting for a week and a half, which they attribute to the endometrin being an irritant. I've had enough. Ultrasounds have shown babies are 100% ok, but it's still so nerve wrecking.
3. General symptoms/rants/concerns/exciting things? I went to a massive (400+ vendor) fall craft show yesterday with my mom. Every time she saw a vendor with baby things, she grabbed my arm and pulled me over and said "Baby things!" I love that she's excited. Nothing new...just growing some kiddos!
QOTW: 1. Are you having a baby shower or a sex reveal party for this pregnancy? I hope we're having a baby shower, although no one has stepped up and said anything about it. We're not facebook public yet, so maybe once we announce, someone will plan one. As for a sex reveal party - I don't think C has the patience to find out at a party. If we have an ultrasound and the tech knows, she will want to know IMMEDIATELY!!
2. What are your most recent pregnancy related Google searches (or other search engine if you don't use Google)? Most recent was "spotting at 8 weeks pregnant" (See appt. updates). Also searching twin related everything - strollers, pillows, pack n' plays, bassinets - you name it.

1. General overview (examples--answer what you like: How many weeks? First baby/, second, etc.? Do you know the sex of the baby? I'm 34 weeks pregnant with my first, a girl. 2. Appointment Updates (recent appts? ones coming up?) I'm having my growth scan this week! I'm excited, I haven't seen Ailsa in 14 weeks. 3. General symptoms/rants/concerns/exciting things? 6 weeks till my EDD! I can't wait until I finish work in two weeks. I've been having a lot of Braxston Hicks this past week, and other than that I'm still exhausted and swollen. QOTW: 1. Are you having a baby shower or a sex reveal party for this pregnancy? I had a baby shower really, really early on. I didn't bother with a sex reveal party though. 2. What are your most recent pregnancy related Google searches (or other search engine if you don't use Google)? My most recent ones have been about braxton hicks - how to tell them apart from real contractions, what the Swedish for braxton hicks is, how to cope with the pain, how to make then less.
1. General overview 26 weeks, 2 days Is it true that next week is the last week of the second trimester?
2. Appointment Updates Our next appointment with our OB is November 3rd. I have to go in the next week or two and do the 1 hour glucose test.
3. General symptoms/rants/concerns/exciting things? Overall feeling pretty good. Some pressure in my lower abdomen that comes and goes (notice it more when I'm standing and moving around), nauseous at night, and waking up pretty early for the day (today it was 3am). Feeling lots and lots of movement- bumps, thumbs, flips. We were standing in a barn with a metal roof over the weekend and it was pouring rain so it was pretty noisy and Little One (still haven't settled on a nickname) was so active during it. It was their first heavy rainstorm.
QOTW: 1. Are you having a baby shower or a sex reveal party for this pregnancy? Since we have family all over the United States, it seems like we are having a couple small baby showers/celebrations. We had an early baby shower at the end of September on the East Coast, a baby celebration with close family in Seattle this past weekend, and then in November we will have a baby shower where we live.
2. What are your most recent pregnancy related Google searches (or other search engine if you don't use Google)? What does round ligament pain feel like, pressure/heaviness in your abdomen at 25 weeks pregnant, size and development updates each week (we're an eggplant now), vegetarian sources of protein, prenatal yoga, and doulas, birth, and baby classes in our area.

On Friday we had an ultrasound. They could see a yolk sac and it was in a good spot so that was a relief. Our next ultrasound is 2 weeks from today. It will be great to hear the heartbeat. We don't plan on telling anyone else until after we hear the heartbeat.
Google searches have included something like: Appropriate weight gain how to not gain too much weight during pregnancy Average HcG levels (that was when we initially had our hcg levels checked. What exercise is safe during pregnancy
I've been feeling ok. I was very tired and irritable this weekend but today is better. And I got a nap today too!

7 weeks, 1 day. A blueberry! First baby.
First ultrasound on Friday, GP appointment on Monday. We're also on the list for a midwife through both clinics in our city, they are busy folks... crossing my fingers.
I've been tired but only nauseous before I've eaten so I'm having snacks available at all times, that seems to be working... I've even gotten up while in bed to have a snack and re-brush my teeth. We told my immediate family this past weekend, it was a little overwhelming. I'm not someone who likes the spotlight and I'm not particularly close with my family, so the big reactions and constant topic of conversation was a little uncomfortable. Glad it's over with.
QOTW: If someone plans us a shower, which could happen, we'll graciously accept. No sex reveal party. We don't really want a bunch of pink or blue, so we're either team green or (most likely), we'll find out but tell people we're team green so that we know but they don't.
Google searches... craving pickles in pregnancy, cheeses that are not safe in pregnancy. Mostly we've been consulting our copy of What To Expect When You're Expecting.
Anyone else have this feeling? My stomach, especially one side of my lower abdomen, feels so stretched/heavy/tight. It's uncomfortable just going for a walk. Feels better when I wear my pants with the full band but it's still noticeable.

Yep! It comes and goes for me, which leads me to believe that the feeling is connected to the baby's position. I also get an uncomfortable pressure under my lungs from time to time that comes with shortness of breath (when just sitting still), and I think that happens when baby is pushed up under my lungs/rib cage. The heaviness feeling is something I feel often, and I felt it starting around this time with my last pregnancy too.
