So I got a bag of these:
And opened one to find it like this:
I opened a few more and they are all like that. I checked the expiration date and they don't expire until April. I tried googling it and can't find any info. Maybe you bright ladies here will know what's up. And more importantly, if I can still eat them.

It is totally safe to eat, but the surface texture might be a little off.
Yeah I really want to have a few, but I might skip them because I have texture issues. I might have to hit up the vending machine in the break room instead now. Boo! Thanks ladies!

If it is fat bloom, it will go away with a little heat. That shouldn't affect the texture. However, However, it doesn't go away with heat then it it sugar bloom and the texture won't be as smooth as normal. Good luck solving your chocolate conundrum!
H used to work at a chocolate shop. He says it sometimes happens when chocolate gets too warm then cools - something funky with temperature. It doesn't mean the chocolate is bad, just fats from the chocolate brought to the surface or something like that.
