Hi everyone! Hope your weeks are going well so far! Please update any goals you set last week or join in and start some new ones. Please be sure to include trigger warnings and follow the format below. Thank you
This week wasn't as good as last week for me and I think I need to modify my goals a bit. I can't do 500 kcals at every meal, especially if it is a big portion. I get full so fast and can't make it past 200-300 hundred barely. I was only able to eat 500 kcals a few times this week. I was able to cut down my walking to 30 minutes twice a week, so I'm happy with that, and my body image isn't terrible. For this week:
Goal 1: 250 kcals at each meal consistently
Short term
It is important because I have to feel comfortable at this calorie level and not obsess over large quantities of food (that are large to me, anyway).
I'm going to make my meals more calorie dense so I can eat a small amount and still get lots of energy, such as peanut butter, cheese, and ice cream
Goal 2: Go out for 3 cheat meals and not count the calories
Short
It is important because I miss eating scary foods like pizza, cheese fries, and cake and I know I only live once!
I will invite my mom to brunch, we will probably go out to dinner over the weekend, and I'll go out to lunch with a friend so those will be my splurge days.
Goal: Don't go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink. Short/Long term? Both Why is it important? It's gross. We have fruit flies. I can't expect H to take care of the dishes all the time. How am I going to accomplish it? An hour before bed every night, check the sink and wash anything still in it.
Goal: Get back into my wellness goals Short/Long term? Both Why is it important? I need to stay healthy for my own well-being and to be ready for our next IVF cycle. How am I going to accomplish it? Tell H, my therapist, you all, and the FUIF check-in so I can stay accountable!
Goal: Sleep 7-9 hours/night Short/Long term? Long Why is it important? Sleep is important for my health, hormonal balance, anxiety, and egg quality. How am I going to accomplish it? Stop using electronics by 10pm and begin getting ready for bed. Read a book in bed. Lights out by 11pm. (Starting tomorrow obviously, since it's 11:15 and I'm still on my computer.)
