I went to the doctor for a follow up to check my blood pressures and have blood work done and all that. Everything looks amazing, except my blood sugar. That damn gestational diabetes is hanging around and my internist is concerned. So now I have to check my sugar weekly and go back in three months to make sure it's not sticking around longer. Oh, and he said I need to work on losing my baby weight. I didn't tell him that I already had, and that I was just chubby to start with. I actually weigh about 6 lbs less than I did when I got pregnant. Aaaarrrrrrgggggghhhh!!!!
TL;DR: my doctor says I need to lose weight and my blood sugar is still whacked out. Yay me.
I'm just going to watch my carb and sugar intake like I did when I was pregnant. And I'll lay off the sweets a bit. Lame-o since Halloween and all the delicious holidays are approaching!! Lol.
I'm also going to try to exercise more consistently. I go a few times a week, but it hasn't been a routine thing. I did play flag football tonight, so that counts for something.

I'm sorry, that's so frustrating. But you're in good company good luck making healthier choices and trying to get an exercise routine going. I hope your sugar levels stable out.
