As you can see, I am bored with this whole bed rest thing. I am currently watching Dr. Phil and drinking coffee. I am so nervous for today. I keep flip flopping on whether I want them to induce me today (or soon) or send me back to work. I wish I could make the choice for myself but I think it is in my doctor's hands now.

AFM - I'm at work again (so obvi I'm on TCF and I'm not even 30 min into my day). I have like one thing on my to-do list for today & I can't do it for another hour.

12 days till what my OB says is my due date. 6 days till what the calendar says is my due date (based on both LMP and the one day we had sex that cycle). Either way, let's get this show on the road baby!

LO's ultrasound and catheter dye test results came back yesterday. He doesn't have reflux and his hydronephrosis is considered mild, so we'll keep an eye on it as his kidneys mature. Good news overall!

bradysalon hang in there! I am being induced today my BP is getting less stable but no other symptoms of pre-e. I am 39 and 3. I wanted to go into labor on my own but at this point it is better for me if the baby comes sooner.

trichie5, I have no issues waking/hitting MH when he's snoring. F that. I can understand not wanting to wake the baby though... I probably would have told H that his snoring woke both me & the baby and told him it's his turn for MOTN duty because of it! lol!

I didn't ask for help when DD was born, but I got it anyway. Hurricane Irene struck our area just after DD was born. Our town has it's own electric company so we only lost power for a few hours. But my parents lost theirs for a week. So my mom came to stay with us because of it. I remember there was a night H and I were going out for our first dinner date since DD was born and my mom was going to watch her. Then she got word that the power as back on, but offered to stay anyway. I said no and kicked her out so quickly, I almost feel bad! But it was time for her to GTFO!

@usernamesarehard I squirted myself in the face last night. It totally would've gone straight in my eye if I wasn't wearing glasses. This life is so glamorous.

H is working from home today yay! We have baby M's hip ultrasound this afternoon. It's standard for breech extraction babies since the procedure can cause hip dysplasia. She doesn't have any signs of it according to our pedi's exam but he said sometimes (rarely) it's only caught by the u/s. Any good thoughts you can spare would be appreciated!

FWIW I was born with hip dysplasia (also breech). Was in a body cast for a few months. It was removed right around the time I was ready to crawl. No issues since then, no delays in crawling or walking. I obviously don't remember any of it, but I've heard about it for my entire life. I don't know what the treatment options are now, I'm sure they've changed in the past 30 years!

K. Someone rationalize for me. My headache is getting worse. No flashing lights yet (they happened this weekend which my OB knows) but some black floaty guys in my vision. Not super uncommon when I stare at my computer all day.

Hands swollen like they were earlier this week. I feel like I'm reading into stuff, especially since my 24 urine came back ok. But I don't want to underreact either. I feel crazy.

Call? See how I'm feeling after I eat lunch? Wait until when I get my BP check? It's at 3pm tomorrow.

Eta- how's your breathing? Do you feel like your BP is up?

Tylenol is useless. Im kind of short of breath,but I've been that way for 3 months. Lol

No? But I've never really been able to feel when my BP is higher. I do feel kind of anxious but that obviously is self inflicted at this ppoint. I think I'll call in a bit and see what they say. I'm sure they'll have me.stop in for a BP check. But I know if it's high they'll pull me out of work. And I have too much shit to do. But I'd rather go into my OB office than L&D later, you know?

I work at the clinic just down the hall from OB so it's just as easy to pop in there.

Just had cake for a coworker who is leaving us. I had a contraction while eating cake, it hurt so much I actually didn't finish my piece of cake.
FX this continues. With DD my first contractions were only 1-2 per hour and took a good 4-5 hours to get more regular.
