I hired a sitter to go to a school open house and the Jack White concert with DH tonight and I'm getting sick. I feel worse and worse as the day progresses. I don't think I'm gonna make it.

I took some Flonase so the sniffling stopped but I still have a sore throat and I can tell I have a fever. I had to put my coat on. And I can't miss any work as we're doing shit I can't not do. Waiting for something now so a little free time but the next couple days will be hectic(assuming it comes in). Ultimately I know going will make me sicker longer. But I know how important this is to DH.

I hope you can get some Meds in you that will help you make it through the day.
No idea what MSG is. This is at the Nashville arena, forget what it's called as they change the name constantly.
Madison Square Garden
Ooh la la!
I actually have seen White Stripes and Raconteurs play in smaller venues which is much nicer IMO. I love the new album though. Maybe I can manage. We'll see.
If you are feeling achy and fever-y, take a couple Advil. You should feel better pretty quickly (works within 30 minutes for me). That said, I definitely wouldn't be going to a concert if I was running a fever. Feel better!

Sorry! If its a cold thing, I'd even try having a few drinks, it really works. My mom only drinks beer when she has a cold and swears by it. Plus, you are going to a concert...
Well that didn't work out at all. I went to the open house at the school and was starting the arduous search for parking when the phone rang. The key DH gave the sitter opened the knob but not the deadbolt. DH was just leaving work so I sent him home. After about 15 nasty minutes of searching for parking in a too-tight lot, having to back out in places, having people squeezing through where they shouldn't and boxing me in, and getting honked at way too much, I decided I wasn't doing that every night anyway and scratched that school off the list and went home. DH is going without me and the babysitter is putting kiddo to sleep.
