We're on vacation this weekend and among the millions of things that have gone wrong this trip, our hotel has no available cribs.
Lo is still in a crib at home, and generally is all over the crib in her sleep, .flipping from end to end. Do you think she would be safer sleeping on the floor, or in bed with me?
The beds are in the center of the room, so I pulled the easy chair next to the side of the bed, in case she rolled shed roll into the chair. But it obviously doesn't cover the whole side of the bed. I stuffed a blanket under the fitted sheet to close the gap between the mattress and headboard.
I think she would be safer on the floor, but I'd also prefer she were close to me like in bed. But we've never coslept, so really both options make me nervous. Opinions?

We co-sleep when in a bind like this. DS doesn't move nearly as much when he is snuggled up with DH or me. It may be that because he knows we are there he doesn't feel the need to move around as much or it could be why he moves around so much at night is because he's seeking us out.
I'd try to co-sleep in bed. If you don't think LO will sleep well you could always buy a single blow up mattress to put on the floor or a cheap portable toddler bed.
That's annoying. When you booked the hotel did they sat they had a crib for your room? If so, I would complain...a lot.
I would trying co sleeping in bed. Ask for extra pillows and make a baracade on one side of the bed. You could also put your suitcase on one side of the bed (with a pillow cushioning it).

So sorry for positing and running. I tried to get her in bed with me but she kept getting in and out of bed. I knew it would be a terrible night, so I ran to target and bought a PnP. Thanks everyone!

Keep the receipt. Show it to the hotel front desk and ask for reimbursement. If they don't help, then call the hotel company.
