Hey friends! I just wanted to wish you all a happy weekend we are in the woods enjoying our anniversary weekend. Here's a picture of the amazingly awesome morning I had:
I Need motivation to clean the house. DH is off working somewhere (he is obsessive about work) and the girls are watching Tinkerbell. Soon it will be nap time. I want to nap too, but I must clean. Maybe just the kitchen...

Oh the woods with the fire looks so nice! I'm jealous! I'm having an intensive cleaning day. Our apartment had turned into such a pig sty because we've been gone every weekend for the past month. I'm feeling so much happier now that I'm not up to my elbows in cat hair and clutter. But my energy levels are running so low that after 3 hours of cleaning now all I want to do is sleep the rest of the day.
Tomorrow we're going to NH to hike a mountain. It's snowing up there today, so that should make things interesting!
I started feeling really sick the past few days so I'm just laying in bed, rather than doing schoolwork like I should be. We went to Target this morning, were only gone for an hour, but it WIPED me out. I'm definitely much more sick than I was with my DS, but trying to be thankful for now. I told myself if I ever got to this point, I'd be thankful and wouldn't complain.
DH leaves on Tuesday for a month. I'm dreading it, but am going to fly up to RI with my son for a week (where my parents live) to make the time pass faster. DS' leg is getting worse and worse. We're going to a pediatric ortho on Tuesday. I'm so sad for him-he only got to walk for a few weeks, and I also feel stir crazy that we can't do much (like go to the park or to his gymnastics class).
Sorry for the long random post. Hope everyone is having a great Saturday!
Hey ladies. I am just back from the mall. I took DS there to play so that she might burn off some energy and that I can nap. That plan has not worked. lol. I am cramping like hell today. Hope you are all having a good one!
We had an awesome morning, got up and got starbucks then went to tractor supply and got H new boots and a cute tshirt for Little. Then we went to the mall and got H some llbean shirts and he sliced his finger open with a box cutter so I got to relive my EMT days for a couple of minutes. Then I went out with my BFF and Little to a crappy harvest festival and then out for tea. Then we came home and it all went to shit. She's throwing an absolute fit about going to bed and I'm going to have a nervous breakdown if she doesn't stop screaming.

Change in my Sat plans. Apparently sleeping in until 8a was a sign LO wasn't feeling well. We've been snuggling/sleeping pretty much all day. Poor thing. Hopefully she'll feel better tomorrow

We spent most of Friday night awake with LO (thank you 18 mo. sleep regression) and then took our entire sleep deprived family to a huge pumpkin patch with a bunch of friends. We actually had a pretty awesome time, and I'm praying he sleeps through tonight.

I feel your pain on the sleep regression!! We are also weaning and she is not taking it well! Hopefully we both get some sleep tonight. Last night she finally slept until 6:45 with 1 wake up (best she's slept in weeks) and I was up at 4:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. Figures!

Hope you got some sleep last night! It's so hard when they start sleeping longer, but you're so used to waking up that you can't sleep.

I did sleep better last night and she was up at 6:15 so not bad! Not looking forward to daylight savings though!!! Also nap has been such a nightmare with weaning but today she didn't cry as long so that's a plus! Also this whole experience has taught me not to always nurse to sleep. Hope you slept well too!
