So wonderful to see the pictures and updates. The one of them holding hands is so precious. And I love seeing them against your skin looks like you have a decent room there?
Is it weird that I saw this was bumped and hoped I would come in to find some cute Xmas card with mom and dad holding the babes with Santa hats on or something lol
Nolan is now on cpap and should be put on regular heated nasal cannula in the next few days. He is still in his incubator but should be coming out soon.
Gracie is dominating right now!! She now gets to do what is called nonnutritive breastfeeding. I go and pump until mostly empty and then have her latch on and nurse. I pump first so that it's not too much milk where she gets overwhelmed. This teaches her to suck swallow and breathe at the same time. She should start one bottle feed a day this week! As she tolerates it more they will increase how many bottles she gets until she gets all 8 by mouth instead of her ng tube. Once she does this she will be coming home!! She's out of her incubator and in a big girl crib now as well.
Nataleigh is on cpap as well now. She's still in her incubator too. Hopefully her and Nolan will follow Gracie soon and start breathing better.
Gracie very well could be home before or by her due date (Jan 30) but I'm expecting Nolan and Nataleigh to be here probably a month past their due dates.
Now for the best part.:. Christmas pics!! Even though Nolan and Gracie are on isolation and Nataleigh can't be held with them we tweaked the rules a little so we could get our first picture as a complete family with all three of our babies! I made all the outfits btw!

Yay! Love the pics and the outfits you made are amazing. I'm sure you are so sick and tired of being at the hospital. I'm glad Gracie may be going home soon. I hope the other 2 follow very quickly!! You are doing an amazing job, Mama!
So much cuteness!!!!!! Glad they are chugging along making good steps. Hopefully you are finding some time to spoil yourself over the holidays after all you guys have been through.

Beautiful update and amazing pics of your family! I'm so glad thug shave been looking up for you. DH was asking about you guys the other day and was so happy to hear the update and see new pics. Merry Christmas!!

Nolan is on 2 liters of oxygen with a regular cannula! Once he gets down to one liter he gets to start nonnutritive breastfeeds!
Gracie is up to 5 bottle feeds and 1 breast feed per day. We get to go home when we reach 8 total! So exciting to be so close! She's still on 1/4 liter of oxygen.
Nataleigh is on the lowest setting on her cpap and should be put on a regular nasal cannula tomorrow!
Nolan and Gracie are both having some issues with their eyes developing so they are being watched closely.
Gracie also has a very large hemangioma on her knee and she's now getting steroid shots in it to hopefully shrink it.
They also moved us all. :/ Nolan and Gracie are in an isolation pod due to their mrsa. Since nat is negative she has a private room across the hall so that everyone is still close. It's been very difficult. I miss them all bring together.
I'm also sick with an awful cold. Today is the first day since they were born that I haven't seen them! I started running fever last night and couldn't live with myself if I got them sick. I called my doctor and am starting antibiotics tomorrow to kick this bug ASAP. I need my babies.
Overall everyone has been doing pretty good. As we are quickly approaching our actual due date in beginning to panic about taking care of them all but also can't wait!
Oh Nolan is 4 lbs 9 oz Gracie is 4 lbs 7 oz Nataleigh is 4 lbs 4 oz They must really like mommas milk!!

Thank you so much for the update - I was wondering how those three sweet little ones were doing! I'm so glad to hear that everyone is growing and improving. You are a rock star, mama!
