Sarah wouldn't eat today and was just more lethargic so we got into our pediatrician. Her Tbili levels are elevated to a point that she needs light therapy. So we are headed back to the hospital for the night.
I am honestly not worried about her. I know this is quite common, pretty straightforward to treat and we are in good hands. But man it sucks. Being home was so nice.

You'll be back home in no time momma! A friend whose baby was jaundiced was sent home with a light therapy blanket, maybe they can do the same for you so that you can be at home? Best of luck to you!

I think her levels are at the point that they want to be able to check her closer? The pediatrician said once we get it under control she will bounce back quickly but we need to get on top of it now. So I am guessing we are borderline it being a bigger deal.

Thinking of you and Sarah. Hoping your stay is short and she is cleared soon. Silly bilirubin -- Charlotte was just cleared this morning, so no more blood drawers-- but thankful that we live in sunny Texas and I have been able to sun her through a window.

thinking of you and your little girl. We played the billruibin game with our DS and it is definitely no picnic. Hope they get her leveled out soon and you can go back home and get all settled.
Holy heck this is hard. She is fine but she is all naked and by herself in the bassinet. Not being able to pick her up when she cries is absolute torture. She is slowly killing her momma.
