Water broke Friday about 5:30pm but I wasn't feeling hard and consistent contractions so I waited around for a while, did some last minute shopping at wal mart, got me something to eat, took a shower and packed a bag for the hospital and then left for my 2 hour drive (hubs and DS was with me) to l & d. Got to the hospital at about 10:30pm, got hooked up to the monitors and checked to make sure my water had broke (for a while they tried to tell me that it had not but I knew differently) luckily my doctor was on call at the ER so they called him and we decided that since contractions were not consistent or strong that we would schedule my RCS for 7am the next morning. So I got a little rest in between all of the cervical checks and then prepped for surgery. RCS went great except for I did have an uncontrollable uterus bleed that caused me to lose more blood than anticipated so I had to have a blood transfusion to receive 2 units of blood. I never felt bad though even with the low blood. Anyways, baby girl was born at 7:50am on Saturday October 17, weighing in at 7 pounds 5 ounces and 18 inches long. She is our little princess and her daddy is so in love!! He has become a baby hog too! Sorry for all of the run on sentences. We were discharged today and we are happily at home.
