So I was taking a nap this afternoon, and woke up around 3 felt a pop. Laid there for a while and then went to get up and let the pups out and felt a gush that wouldn't stop coming. Waddled to the bathroom, it continued to come out while I was calling the doctor. Once it stopped made it upstairs to the bathroom with the shower and still came. Husband and I made it to the hospital and confirmed my water broke. At this moment I and 100% effaced and 1/2 cm dialated so they started me on cytotec to get things rolling!
Brynleigh Harper was born yesterday 10/20/2015 at 12:32pm 7# 12oz 20.5 inches long! She is perfect! I am terrible at updating but it's been a long two days.
The top part is the start of her birth story. Around 9 or 10 contractions started getting worse. Like real bad around 1 or two they finally gave me pain meds to help me rest. They made me loopy so everything up until pushing is very blurry. The epidural I veguely remember however the anesthesiologist was awesome because I didn't feel anything. I remember my alarm going off at 5 am and thinking it's really 5. The night seemed to fly by after the pain meds. Around 9:30 am I started pushing took a 30 min break and then pushed some more. Until she was born. She came out with a full head of hair and is just perfect in every way! I'll post pics when I can but for now I'm enjoying some snuggles with her!
