I'm going to sneak myself in here. We have decided to TTC #3. I was on TD when we TTC #1 (she's 4) and more recently #2 (14 months). I was Joy1192 in those days.
Anyways, hi! I like donuts, cake, and all the coffee.
Holy smokes, I remember you when you were TTC#2! Welcome back!
I just recently started getting ipsy boxes and I love it! I also get the quarterly walmart beauty box. I think I might ask for another subscription for Christmas. Any recommendations?

I had an uncomfortable staff mtg. My coworker either wears no bra or the wrong bra and I know this because the conf room was quite nippy today. And then on my left was my boss, an SVP. Who had one too many top buttons undone on his shirt. I got a 30 min view of his silver hairy chest. I didn't know which way to look

I ended up being at the doctor for an hour. They gave me the wrong paperwork and I was told to come back later b/c the lady I saw was in a meeting. I came back at the time they told me to and still no paperwork.

I ran into the insurance agents again. They were outside the grocery store this time so I decided to talk to them and ask them my questions vs hiding which I did last week. They told me I could still buy insurance this month and have it be effective in November. I'm going to talk to H tonight and see what he says. This would mean moving our TTC date up to November!!!!
I worked last night, so I'm exhausted. DS took less than an hour nap yesterday, so by the time I got home at 8 I had been up for over 24 hours. :/ I never sleep good during the day anymore so after 4 hours I was wide awake. So now I'm pounding all the caffeine and enjoying some quiet time better going to get DS from DC.
So I'm a nurse and work between the ICU and open heart recovery unit. In recovery most of our patients, once awake and have the breathing tube out, are pretty groggy but will converse, mostly about their pain, requesting ice and water, and repeatedly asking if they're ok and/or if their surgery is done. Occasionally, I'll have a patient astute enough to ask how many bypasses the surgeon did or something to that effect. This is all normal because anesthesia and narcotics. Last night I had a 60 year old, fairly young by our standards. He was a late case, so by the morning when the Physician Assistant was making rounds he had only been out of surgery for about 10.5 hours and only awake for about 5ish. He told us he felt confused and out of it and had a question for the doc but couldn't remember. We told him that was ok but then he said, "No, I remember now. So, not that I'm getting any, but when is it ok to start having sex again? Because...you know...sometimes it builds up and you just have to release." I've had patients ask me that before, usually when they're close to going home or during their discharge but NEVER the night of surgery. I kinda wanted to high five him and be like "I like where your head is at!"
Sorry for the novel, but I thought I'd share a Wednesday smile.
Yes, Prestiq daily and ativan for when it gets bad or something triggers it. I think the Prestiq is helping. Last week was pretty good but I forgot to take it Monday which is possibly (probably?) why Tuesday was so rough.

I think some people do birch box and like it. I hear Sephora is coming out with one too.

There is a meteor shower tonight and I am really hoping H and I can go watch it. I had so much fun the last time. Is anyone else planning on seeing it? Meteor Shower

I hate that it's supposed to be at the peak right before sunrise. Why can't it peak around 11pm?

Ray first of all so many hugs...I had a similar thing with a partner here a few months ago and it was the worst. I know she was coming from a good place but it still felt crappy. However, I have spent a lot of time thinking about what she said and it's resonating and I also appreciate that she took the time to talk to me. I'm not sure what I going to do but I do feel better reaching out to her in the future about similar things, so that's a plus. It sounds like your principal is also looking out for you even if her delivery was off.

I talked to H about signing up for insurance and he was surprised I talked to them again because we decided before they were shady. He told me to call Florida Blue yet again and I did. They told me everything the insurance agents I talked to is false. I can't get subsidies and I can't get insurance effective until January. I am so upset at myself for falling into their shady trap again. This time I gave them the application with my social security number and no payment information. I called and spoke to the agent and so did my husband. We are going to get my paperwork back from them when they are in town again on Saturday (I know they could copy it or do whatever with it until then). I am so so so upset. I want to scream and can't sit still. UGH!!!
TLDR: The insurance agents promising me coverage by November with subsidies are lying liars and I fell for it again.

With the last meteor shower the same thing happened and we were able to see some around 11. Give it a shot!

There was a fire near the train I take home so the whole commute was messed up and now I've been waiting for my H for 30 min in the cold wearing flip flops (I'm dumb).

Thanks for the hugs and thoughts ladies. When I put H on the phone with the agent they tried telling him we're getting confused because we keep asking multiple people. H told them everyone else we talked to is telling us the same things and they are the odd ones out. Also the Blue Cross Blue Shield agent I spoke to from the main company said if I wanted to double check things to go to irs.gov or healthcare.gov. The other agents didn't say anything like that.

penguin if those ppl are liars and thiefs, they're stupid for returning to the same place. Hope you see them again so you can get a name and take a picture. Tell them your reporting them to authorities. I'd monitor activity maybe credit reports every few months. Sorry lady that really blows.
