So. With Christmas coming up soon, what is everyone planning to get their little ones?? According to DS1 they dont make toys for his age(2) he wants/thinks he wants the *big* kid toys(dinosaurs, starwars, stuff like that) I personally have no clue yet other than some kind of tablet so the little guy won't be deleting pictures and stuff off of our phones. Does your little one have a "wish list"? Just trying to get some other ideas from people
Big gift will be a swing set, but since she can't enjoy it until Spring I'll probably just buy a bunch of cheap crap toys and books from Walmart. We did buy a Frozen suitcase that we've tucked away a month ago.

Is it bad that I totally forgot about the swing set we were thinking about until you mentioned it?? He will probably be getting that instead of the tablet for now..
Basically done shopping - been picking up things all summer.
Some things they are getting:
Hobby horse unicorns Baby Disney princess dolls Dress up capes and crowns Learning laptop toys Some stuffed animals (Santa is bringing Build A Bears to them on Christmas Eve) More of the Little People people and animals Doctor kits
And the thing I am super duper excited about:
Cabbage Patch twin girls baby dolls with double strollers
I think I still want to get them baby doll cribs. They love putting their babies on pillows and covering them. I *might* hold off until their next birthday though.
fiveohfive - I basically shopped for Christmas as I shopped for their birthday. "Well, this is cute, maybe a little advanced, they might be good for it around Christmas." I also wound up having a lot of coupons during the summer for some reason.

DS has a big list, and he loves to tell me about it every. day. (Trains, cars, Hungry Hungry Hippos, books)
DD doesn't really understand yet, so I'll just get things I think she'll like: flannel sheets for her big girl bed (the floral ones I got for her birthday were a hit), a bathrobe (because DS is getting one), and I'm not sure what else yet but probably a couple toys and books.
Their stockings will include an apple, a book, and a small toy.

Probably some books, more food sets for her play kitchen, a SkipHop backpack, some puzzles-she loves the M&D chunky puzzles, and who knows what else?! I feel like this age is tough. Stocking will probably be some crayons, hair clips, a tiny bit of candy, and some reusable straws because she loves them.
Just started really thinking about this. The toys r us catalog showed up yesterday
-fisher price toy Doctor kit -play broom and sweep set - H liked the motorized little quad cars -little people play house -we will pick out some books and Disney movies -crib for her AG bitty baby -play dough set
