I brought the leftover cupcakes from my niece's bday party to work so I wouldn't eat them all. I already ate one and if my coworkers don't get on it and eat the cupcakes then I'm STILL gonna eat them all.
Also, I'm discovering that pregnancy brain is a real thing. A real horrible thing. I feel like I left my brain somewhere.
Also also, 9 STORES. I HATE SHOPPING. I had to go to 9 stinking stores last night to find maternity pants that I could wear to work. Who would've thought that black maternity slacks were so hard to find? Not me. Apparently everyone thinks that spandex leggings pass as work pants now.
I'm lol about leggings passing as work pants! I would never wear leggings to work. I can't even stand tapered leg pants. Banana Republic got these work pants that are so tight and tapered but I'd where people are wearing them. Same with pointe pants, I don't like the way they feel or look. I went to look for work pants at kohls, destination'maternity, target, old navy, Burlington coat factory and Macy's with no luck. My friend gave me 2 pairs of Duo brand underbelly work pants from JC Penny that I love, I have to go look there to find more!
I just went and bought three new bras. I also bought maxi skirts. When I went to check out what was supposed to be $12.94 rang up as $3. They were not clearance and they had just been put out on display. So I got three skirts for $9 which is less than the full price of one! So pumped!

Went to Urgent Care today for a headache, dizziness, nausea, and a sustained BP of 88/50 (taken by two MAs at my office. They drew stat labs (a little anemic, otherwise fine) and took my BP which was about 116/60. Was told that I can take Tylenol for the headache but can do nothing for the BP. I was also told I can expect to feel like this for the next few months. Joy.
This probably belongs in an FFFC or TMI thread, but Imma stick it here because I'm sure some of you can relate. So I train with a personal trainer a few times a week and today I faked joint pain to leave early because I got one of those rumbly "feelings" where I didn't know if I had to fart or poop and I was terrified one of those two things was going to happen during my parallel squats and then I'd just, well, die.

I've been gluten free for almost 5 years, and I've been craving kolaches. My friend owns a kolache bakery and said he would make me gluten free kolaches. I'm so excited!

I left a friend's house in a rush last week for the same reason!
Congrats beepers! So exciting! What field? Did you say?
We are both PAs (now). His offer is in a specialized ICU at a big university where they NEVER hire new grads. He did a rotation there in school so they know him, which is how he got the offer. They are making him do a modified residency starting July 1 but hey, it's better than moving 3 states away!
