A is 7w today. She has always been a fussy sleeper and usually nurses every 3-4 hours at best overnight. Last weekend she gave us a 6hr stretch and just now gave us a 7hr one. I should be rejoicing but it freaked me out. Are your babies sleeping that long? She hadn't taken a nap in the evening...she was too busy screaming,.,
ETA I know some of you have mentioned STTN before but since A is one of the youngest Aug15 babies (born in Sept haha) I assumed we had a ways to go...
DSHM13 M will give us stretchers like that, he just slept 8 hours. He's 13 weeks, but he stated having nights where he'd go longer around 7 weeks I believe.
Getting ready to go into work for a few hours. I going to do a little clothes shopping after, I need to have a few more options that are fun and I can still pump in. H is going to a concert tonight, but apparently last night the singer was sick and had no voice. Hopefully that changes for him. I'll be hanging out with my cousin tonight just relaxing.

I slept awful last night. I wasn't able to go back to sleep after Littlest woke for a feed which was more of a snuggle. I'm still irrationally annoyed about what happened at dinner with the in laws. And my boob still really hurts even just to raise my arm.
I had planned to go to a baby wearing meeting today but both kids still have a cough. So I gave Little Bones chocolate for breakfast and put on Thomas the Train. I'm ok with my parenting choices.

E was exactly 7 weeks when she started STTN.
Everyone except my MIL leaves this morning. It was nice getting to know my SIL, I really do like her. And her husband is pretty nice too. He kinda looks like Jeremy Renner as a Simpson. Lol. Nothing else planned today thank god. I'm vacationed out.
I ended up leaving work 2.5 hours early bc it was flooding downtown. Still got paid for the whole shift though so that's good! I'm hoping everyone in Mexico is ok now with the hurricane weakening. Torrential downpour expected to continue throughout the day here. I'm tired.

We got two days of sttn this week one 8 hrs and one 9 hrs....7 weeks yesterday
I've been MIA. Work is not good. I'm glad it is the weekend. My dog is doing so much better after last Sunday's attack. She still has many stitches and has to wear a cone but she's almost back to her normal self. I have a lot to learn from my dog. She's pretty amazing!
This whole week N has had his last feed at 8:30 and then has slept until 2:30-3:00. We came to my mamas last night and he slept like shit for the most part; one 5 hour then the rest were two. And we got up for good at 7 and he usually sleeps until 8:30-9.

We're going to the pumpkin patch today! I'm stoked! I'm sad though because I have so many super cute hats for baby to wear but they just fall off him. His head is an odd shape so they don't stay on. It's round and elongated in back and completely flat on top. He has a really really bad cone head when he was born and it never completely went away. I want his head to stay warm while we're out but none of his hats will stay on ):
My mom took E for a few hours last night bc my SO wanted to have free time to clean. She FF me & my brother so has no experience with breastmilk. He went to give her some of what I had in the refrigerator to feed E. She thought the milk was spoiled bc the fat had separated... he didn't know any better so he poured out 8 Oz

Oh no amberlie! Hopefully she'll know better for next time.
My H just gave C his first bottle. Took him a few min to get the hang of it but he did it. I'm sad about it, but he needs to be able to take one... Looks like we will have to find something else to do though. Rain showers are predicted this afternoon which means no zoo boo. Zoo boo tomorrow hopefully. Oh, and I had to call to order my own birthday cake for my H to pick up tomorrow. Lol...but at least he asked if I wanted one. :-)
Heading to my nephews soccer game today and it's a little chilly out. Will be 48 degrees and cloudy. Not sure how much layering to do if I wear her in the ergo we still use the insert. Currently thinking fleece pants, long sleeves, vest, fleece jacket hat and mittens will be good. Thoughts? I feel like I'm constantly over or under dressing her.

Same for me last night! I feel like if we are not home starting to settle down by 7:30 she sleeps like crap.
FAK! My stupid iPhone did an update last night so none of my alarms went off. B just went 9 hours without eating!
I know most people would LOVE uninterrupted sleep but it's scary when they don't let you know they are hungry. Ever. This is why we are so scheduled. He needs to eat. Also i was really engorged on the right side only.
Edit: the reason this concerns me is because B is always at the low end of weight gain and he won't take "extra" if he skips a feeding.

I don't usually put more than a long sleeved outfit on DS. He starts sweating in his carrier if I put much more on.
Oh, I failed to see the ergo part. I have a k'tan. Ignore me.

amberlie that's so awful. My mil dumped a couple oz when she first started watching my dd1. I cried and my husband had to explain to her the meaning of liquid gold.
I have a visitation to go to this morning. My grandma just said that kids were ok and there would be plenty of people there to help. (Visitation is my dad's great aunt) I immediately decided it was a good day to wear the baby. I am NOT passing the baby around when it's the start of cold and flu season. Especially to tons of people I have only met when I was a kid.

I never know if baby is too cold. Are you wearing baby under or over your coat? Focus on head, feet and hands to keep her warm!

Just a few days older here...C will occasionally give me a 6 hour stretch within this past week. Here's hoping that this continues!

Yes, you should rejoice. A has just started giving us a 5-6 hour stretch this week at 11 weeks. After that I usually get 1.5-2 hour stretches.

We made it to Michigan!!! Ahhhhh!!!
What a voyage this was! I left CT last Saturday morning with the kids and with the car packed to the brim, spent a few days with the ILs, a few days with my parents, a day with my sister, and finally got here Thursday night. DH stayed behind to meet the movers, drove separately and got here on Wednesday. Our new apartment is awesome and where we are is so quiet, right next to a huge metro park.
Nora handled the long car rides wonderfully & slept most of the time, thank goodness! Movers get here Tuesday morning..I can't wait to have our furniture, sitting on the floor sucks!
Hope to be on here more now that the craziness is dying down! Hope everyone's well!

This is what I get. W had just started going 5 hours between feeds at night. He's 9 weeks today. So jealous of you guys with babies who are sttn.

I want to go to the gym this morning but it's already 10. It's been a lazy morning so far. DH let me sleep in, kinda. He took ds1 when he woke up but then ds2 woke up hungry about 45 min later.
