I will apologize in advance for all my late night/early morning posts. I work nights as a RN in a jail so sometimes I have stretches of time with nothing going on and will stalk all the boards.

1. Anyone team green? I couldn't handle not knowing with my other two, but H is really wanting to wait. Although he's been obsessing about names so maybe that will make him curious enough to want to know.

2. Who have you told? Everyone! Seriously I can't keep a secret and most of my friends and family knew about our IVF and have been waiting for me to find out.

3. Any big reveal plans? Not really. I made a cute Halloween themed "card" that I texted to my family. If we are having twins I am thinking of making a shirt that says "Eating for three" for Thanksgiving.

4. Anyone have your first OB appointment scheduled? I have betas Wednesday. After that I will see my RE at 6wks 3days and then again at 8 weeks before I graduate to my OB.

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months? Finding out if only one or both of my embies stuck. Not pregnancy related I am looking forward to December for Christmas and my anniversary. I love winter and Christmas.

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months? I can not wait to start feeling the baby move. For me, that was the most amazing part of being pregnant. Oh, yeah, and eating all the food.

Nope! Finding out as soon as possible.

I told my mom, who told my dad, who told my sister and her husband. And so it begins!

3. Any big reveal plans?

Nah, I just had a baby 5 months ago, got all my AWing out of my system with that one.

4. Anyone have your first OB appointment scheduled?

No, I actually JUST switched jobs and my insurance doesn't kick in until 01/01/16. It won't be a huge deal to not go to my first appointment until 14 weeks, right?

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months?

Definitely the holidays with DS, although big family get togethers will be hard if we decide not to tell people until after our first doctors appointment.

No, I will find out as soon as possible.

2. Who have you told?
A surprising number of people. I went back and forth on this because the 'untelling' was awful both times but eventually decided that I was just going to enjoy this as long as I could and have as much support as possible if I need it later on!

3. Any big reveal plans?
Nope. Just crossing my fingers that I'll get to FB announce some time!

4. Anyone have your first OB appointment scheduled?
No. They don't see you here (Scotland) until 10 weeks or so. I am probably going to pay for an extra scan in a few weeks, don't think I can wait that long.

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months?
Just crossing my fingers it sticks. My losses were at 7 weeks and 14 weeks so about 10 weeks to go before I start really getting excited!

Thinking about it... but I don't think I'll be able to hold out. DH is on board for whatever I decide.

My other BMB, and the friends who were staying with us this weekend... everyone else will be waiting a good while.

3. Any big reveal plans?
Maybe a Christmas card announcement. My sister and her H are coming for Thanksgiving, so I want to think of something fun to do to tell them. Ideas welcome!

4. Anyone have your first OB appointment scheduled?
Not yet, but I won't be seen until 8w. That falls right by my birthday/thankgiving. I might call today to schedule. Since I know they will book up before the holiday.

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months?
Hearing the heartbeat! Decorating the nursery, and announcing to our families.

We revealed to parents by dressing DD (1 year old this Nov 1st) on a onesie that said "Best Sister Ever" and waited til they figured it out.

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months? I can't wait to start feeling little flutters and the baby moving- hopefully earlier this time since I know what to look for.

Anyone else kinda bummed that Thanksgiving and Christmas are going to be right in the middle of "Morning Sickness Time"? Or is it just me that gets excited for all the food this time of year? Haha

My brother and my boss. (I work in the wedding industry- hairstylist- and I'm due smack dab in the middle of our very busy wedding season, so she can't book me for obvious reasons)

3. Any big reveal plans?
At thanksgiving, my son (who is 1 Nov 19) will wear a shirt that says "this monkey is going to be a big brother" and let him tell everyone.

4. Anyone have your first OB appointment scheduled?
Nope, I should probably get that phone call in though.

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months?
Hmmm it's so different this second time around. I have no expectations and am constantly trying to figure out how the heck I'm going to do this all.

beebe918 I don't think there is anything wrong with waiting that long. Usually earlier scans are more accurate for dating purposes.
HutterFlutter Hopefully this pregnancy is more like my first with no morning sickness, than my second where I'm pretty sure I was dying the entire first tri.

beebe918, I agree, waiting till 14 weeks should be fine for your first appt. Our office usually does 8-12 weeks for first appt anyway. I'm not really in a rush to call the dr and schedule mine either (insurance reasons here, too. Waiting for open enrollment next month)

HutterFlutter, I'm looking forward to all the food this holiday season! First tri seems to be my hungriest time (as long as I'm full I'm not nauseous). Once the baby starts stealing all the tummy room is the part that stinks. I was happy to have baby OUT last year before Thanksgiving!

Dreaming, I worry about bonding with this pregnancy if we go team green. H wants to give it a shot. I want to know because, like you said, we have a toddler to chase after. I need to feel *something* with this baby. I think knowing the sex and having a name will help.

I worried about bonding with my second a lot and how I could ever love another baby as much as DD, but before even knowing the sex as I started to feel him move and it became more real I definitely started dreaming about him and bonding. I never have been team green because I am such a planner and it helps me keep things in check.
For example: We have a three bedroom house and my other two recently asked for bunk beds since DS sneaks into DD's room most nights. So to keep my mind off IVF hormones and cycling we completely repainted her room (it was bright pink) got bunk beds and repainted his room (Forrest green) and started decorating the nursery before the eggs were even out. Not having a definite name and clothes picked out would stress me out in the third tri when nesting kicked in.

3. Any big reveal plans? We'll wait till the end of 1st tri, so around xmas. DS was born in June '14 and we did xmas ornaments with ultrasound pics to announce to parents. Maybe do a xmas card family picture or something?

4. Anyone have your first OB appointment scheduled? Nope. I think I found a midwife group in the area, but haven't called yet. (We moved last year, I'm so sad to leave my old midwives, I loved them!)

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months? Haven't really thought about it. Mostly feeling nervous about the risk of MC and about having two kids.

1. Anyone team green? Absolutely not. I've bought DS ridiculous amounts of clothes to satisfy the pangs of jealousy I have every time I see pink tutus or glitter shoes. I need to know whether I have to organize the stuff I already have or if I get to buy a few (dozen) girly things. DH and I were still fighting over the name in the hospital last time (even though we were team blue since the AS), so we obviously need the advance warning to work on our negotiations.

2. Who have you told? only my BMB. We'd like to wait until after the holidays since we have a couple of relatives who are OAD not by choice. But, I have a girl's night out tomorrow, and I have no idea what I'll say if someone notices I'm not drinking.

3. Any big reveal plans? One of these t-shirts:only child until... or what happens in july?

4. Anyone have your first OB appointment scheduled? Dec. 2, which doesn't seem so far away when I remind myself that it's only a little bit more than the length of a cycle

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months? feeling movement and thrilling the grandparents of course. also, buying/wearing comfy maternity clothes. i got an H&M gift card for my birthday back in May and I've been saving it for buying new maternity jeans.

Dreaming love nautical theme I was trying to decide between that and an adventure (mountains/arrows) theme... I went with the later bc of that giveaway I won... more available with that theme... and also DH said the guest room (which is already painted nautical colors) was not an option for the nursery. Boo.

The point... good choice on theme.

I actually set up the crib today.

And my mom got me this for my birthday not even knowing our theme.

housecarder the harry potter theme is really neat! is the castle a mural that you'll have to paint? dh and i are huge harry potter nerds. I almost dressed my DS as Draco this Halloween, but we went with marty mcfly instead.

Yeah we'd have to do it ourselves, but we are renting our house so I think I'll look for Harry Potter artwork instead.
We had a Harry Potter themed wedding and there is a high chance that this LO will have a HP inspired middle name.

2. Who have you told? My internet friends who I met on TD back when I was pregnant with DS in 2010, but no one IRL other than DH. Except that I met some of those internet friends in person when they visited a couple weeks ago, so I guess they are IRL friends, too.

3. Any big reveal plans? We want to give DS big brother books for the last night of chanukah, assuming we can get the NT scan done before then. Then we'll facetime relatives and have DS show his grandparents/aunts/uncles his present

4. Anyone have your first OB appointment scheduled? First ultrasound on 11/11, first OB appointment on 11/20

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months? Seeing a heartbeat, getting past the NT scan and having everything look ok. I can't think beyond that point due to my history.

3. Any big reveal plans? No, we are planning on waiting until Thanksgiving to tell our families but may tell sooner. There are some sensitivities on both sides so we aren't planning to make any big announcements.

4. Anyone have your first OB appointment scheduled? I do. My work schedule and current child care make appointments pretty tight so I figured I would get them on the calendar.

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months? This will hopefully be our third and final so I am looking forward to enjoying all the moments.

HI everyone! I'm requiressnacks and I just got my BFP today and I'm totally fucking excited, terrified, and excited for this journey! I'm 33 and MH is 34 and this will be #1 for both of us. We've been trying for a year and got lucky on our first IUI. I love Bravo TV, wine, dumb jokes and pinning projects I will never complete. I was pretty active on the GKU board so hopefully we can get this one popping!

1. Team Grren? Probably not. I think it could be fun but MH is dead set against it.

2. Who have you told? My sister - who is sworn to secrecy. And all of GKU!

3. Any big reveal plans? Meh

4. Anyone have your first OB appointment scheduled? Not yet. 2nd beta is Tuesday so if all is well I'll probably have my first appointment with the RE

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next few months? Being able to tell people. Is Christmas too soon?!
