From what I remember from TTC#1, it's good to drink green tea before O, but not during the TWW. My question is, do you stop drinking green tea on or before O day? If I don't chart, is it bad if I still drink tea for a few days after O? Or am I obsessed over something that doesn't matter that much?

Just jumping in here. Why shouldn't you have green tea when you take your folic acid?
it can block the absobtion of folic acid if taken too close together.
Yep.
Especially important if you have MTHFR or something.
At the same time, we get a lot more folic acid than we realize in other foods (most breads and cereals are enriched with folic acid, as an example), so don't freak out if you forget. I try to drink green tea in the morning and take my vitamins at night, but I have MTHFR and take a stupid high amount of folic acid (and the necessary accompanying B vitamins to keep things balanced) on my peri and Ob's recommendations.

I take my prenatals at night too because they are hard on my stomach I find, and I normally drink green tea in the morning since TTC. I try to limit as much caffeine as possible, just in case I get pregnant in the future.
Awesome, Thanks everyone! I don't know why I thought green day wasn't good during TWW. I'll make sure to space it from my PNV. And I'll make sure to check out the newbie thread. ;-)

There are rumblings that green tea can affect implantation by causing uterine contractions or something like that. But I haven't seen anything scientific to support that. I am assuming you would have to consume a huge amount, like overdose on green tea supplements. So I wouldn't put too much weight on that concern.

Green Day isn't any good during anytime of the month

This is also what I have heard. I do stop drinking green tea during the TWW, because I am paranoid. Also, I don't like it that much, but when WTO it helps me get something healthy in my body other than water.

I seriously chug it while WTO because I have found it helps me with cervical mucus production. So I am over it by the time the TWW rolls around

You are right, I didn't mention it totally helps my CM production. That is why I keep drinking every month.
I seriously almost asked this exact green tea question yesterday but checked out the old faithful newbie blog first. My CM is basically MIA so perhaps I should choke some down - it's really not my "cup of tea"
